After watching your video I am reminded that I am so glad I dumped my 2023 2SS 6MT after only 6 months of ownership and 4 trips to dealership for pesky warrantee related repairs. As for the visibility issues, your correct you do get used to it HOWEVER your quickly reminded when you have a "near hit" encounter.

Yea I can’t say I blame you. The little things add up and to get irritating. Thankfully the only warranty related thing I need to take care of is the for the ventilated seats. And you’re right about the visibility. Makes you keep your attention on the road for sure

Same issue with the cool seats on my 2SS

I have a 6th gen ss manual absolutely love this thing I agree run flats suck run flats on my bmw were louder than my 35 inch mud tires on my Silverado

Those seats are not really cooled they are ventilated which means a fan turns on and push whatever air is in the cabin thru the seats. What I did is have the ac setting on dash and floor, it helps a little but until the cabin cools down the seats are useless.

Agreed. I tried turning my AC all the way up along with having the floor setting on and I still barely feel anything. I guess it is what it is unfortunately

I bought a brand new 23 2SS last year and have the same issue with the cooled seats (at least on the driver's side). I haven't tested the passenger side.

Did you have to use any spacers for your wheels and tires to get them to perfectly fit without sticking outside the wheel fender?

Nope. Thats how they sit with the 20x10 and 20x11’s. Fitment is much better than it was with the stock setup IMO

Your video made me instantly fall in love ❤ with the 2SS Camaro -- so I searched and found a brand new 2024 2SS nitro yellow that was a repo because the owner failed to make payments. It has only 4,000 mi. I got it for $48,500 plus tax and fees. The car was well cared for by the previous owner so it’s in superb shape. It has the standard staggered factory tires and wheels size 245 front and 275 rear. I would love to put wider wheels and tires on this car like yours has 285 front & 305 rear with 20” inch rims for both the front & Back. Do I have to alter the car 🚗 in any way or can I just install the bigger wheels and tires as is without doing anything to change the car??

Man, that nitro yellow is a seriously sweet color. I contemplated getting that when I ordered mine. And the wheel and tire setup I have is the same size that comes on the 1LE Camaros. Front wheel is 20x10, rear wheel is 20x11. Tire size up front is 285/30/20, rear tire size is 305/30/20. This is the widest you can go without having to roll your fenders or do any modifications. I didn’t have to do anything, just throw the wheels on and I was good to go. Car handles much better now with the bigger rubber. Good luck!

Yea it does have the buttons. They’re just obnoxiously loud for some reason

I have cooled seats in my Charger too, and it feels like they don't do anything. You could hear the car working harder to provide this feature for you but since I can't feel it anyway I just never use the cooled seats.

Just google “wheel finish repair” and you should have some local shops near you. I did it through my local tire shop

I got the rapid blue… but that black is TOUGH!!!!!

No 2009/10 was the first year of the 5th gen Camaros. 2016-2024 were the model years for the 6th gen’s

Forgot to add that 😂 had to have a manual though. Camaro was my first dream car so I like them more than vettes. Actual con was getting an SS instead of a ZL1 😉

Dude.............is that a trailer hitch on the back. Seriously??? I own the same car, color and everything. NO WAY IN HELL is it ever gonna get a trailer hitch installed on it.
