2024 Breakout: Olu Gets His Shot and Doesn't Miss
Ойын-сауық
In his rookie season, Center Olusegun Oluwatimi got few chances to show the full range of his abilities. Olu's mobility and pass blocking acumen should suit him well in offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb's Air Raid offense.

@@1hidrobeatz I’ve seen what I needed to see to ride with Geno. He battled last season behind our line
Our defense should be great and able to stop the run and make tackle and pressure the quarterback I can’t wait Go Hawks!!!!!!!!!💙💚😤💙💚😃
Didn't he win like every NCAA OL award???

You are correct. He got the Rimington and other lineman award. Can't remember what it was at the moment, but he does have his pelts on the wall.

Right? Best center in the NCAA..!
They brought in the free agent Novitsky
Looking forward to him this year. Mildly tired of hearing about haynes and his few snaps at senior bowl.....lets try a real center first with Olu.
I don't get why we kept running Brown and Taylor out there last year. Throw in Hall and Oluwatimi... Seattle even if they made the playoffs would been an easy first round elimination... go try out your new guys? The fact Olu and Hall sat on the bench while Brown/Taylor were HORRIBLE anyway was baffling to me.

Pete always did that. Remember lawyer milloy playing and Kam on special teams?

Baffled me too.
They have clearly said they’re going the coaching route to fix the o-line and not the veteran free agent route, which is the way to go to quickly fix the line. Due to the line being a problem for multiple years now and the GM’s refusal of drafting high on interior linemen or spending big money on free agents, if the line is once again weak, I think it’s time for John to leave too. Pete was the scapegoat and John should be held accountable as well.

So we should have given D Lewis that big contract? Good teams don’t let their o line starters leave

@@Eidanclay They should have spent money on the line. Look at the best olines, they have money tied to them. Seahawks are dead last once again in money tied to the oline. Can’t win like that.

@@rickyricardo4599I agree. If dtackles are making great money John wanting to go cheap on guards probably isn't going to work. Hope olu and haynes hit but lewis is John's nearest hit and he let him go. Maybe lewis got too much but at some point you need a consistent line from one year to the next.

@@EidanclayThey are simultaneously saying that teams don't let their good O-linemen go and criticizing John for not signing good O-linemen in free agency.
