The Hakai/Dream Tackle BFS reel is available for less than $90 at the moment - is this a worthy buy? I’m throwing 3-7 gram lures. Thanks.

Everybody is so into this BFS stuff now. I have had a JDM Shimano Scorpion BFS for three years. It is a fine reel that is as smooth today as it was when it was new.

Great video! I like the break down and the pro/con list of each reel.

I got that ATD after watching your review. Definitely a good reel to get a taste of bfs especially since I stuck a 5lber my first time out. Moved on to a scorpion bfs which is much smoother and stuck an almost 6 my first time out. Crazy

@@THEREELTEST i have clamber 2 3072, tender shoot, kestrel & valiant and i have to say - acura is better for some aspects of this reels..and the main of them - smoothness of the gear...it is the best value for money now.

Probably going to be a Cormorant, but maybe get the HG version of the Calcutta conquest bfs. Also tempted to try the Loongze, I've never tried a Digital chip breaking system...FishOn...Jim

Just started being interested in bfs and your channel has been extremely helpful. I have a couple of questions: 1) When will you do the 22 Aldebaran vs Arise Elite testing? 2) Do you plan to order and test the Arise Air Ultra? 3) I was having a little difficulty finding the information I wanted on the Arise on their website. How does the Ultra compare with the Air and Elite? and what is its purpose (I realize that it is considerably more expensive at $197 (I think)?

Great video! Do you have a link to the ifishband clamber 2.0? Would you choose a clamber 2.0 over the kastking kestrel?

Trying to decide between Comorant, Abu Zenon and Abu Revo Alc BF7. Im from Hong Kong but i shop from China that these are roughly the same price (sub $180) and the ALC BF7 being the cheapest at $150.

if you are trying to cast 2 grams and under get the Cormorant. If you only cast heavier weights get the Revo ALC

I wasn't impressed at all with my Gekkabijin at all; even with braid, I was disappointed with it's casting distance. I actually like my 20' Alphas air TW better.

@@philipfalco7304 I might just try that out instead. Seems like the Alphas Air or Steez air may outperform Gekkabijin. But damn the Gekkabijin looks good with SLP knobs.

Ive already done a cast battle between an ultralight spinning reel and 2 bfs reels. Ill be doing a fishing comparison next after I get 2 budget rods

All that weight saving on the real just makes it feel cheaper.
