His A game is the best of any player out there, and that includes Luke Littler. MVG plays at a speed only that maybe only Taylor could match. Let's not write him off yet. You saw on MvG‘s and Price‘s faces, that they were devastated. They fear that their chances to be the Number 1 in that sport are „belittled“ now by a huge margin. Aspinell looked like he already came to terms about that fact.

By 16, I had already picked up my drunk parents and put them to bed twice a week for years, still making my own saamies for school. I wish i could have been calm, level headed, knowing that a today or even a tomorrow was going to be just fine. Now that I am older, and even at this stage of my life, i place myself in his shoes...wishing i could have been happy like that at 16. It helps me move on so YOU....your definition of Ffs as I understand it to be, your implied sarcasm by use of .......(dots) and pause of breath to intimately express yourself.....I got something for you.....GFY.

Mvg has changed his grip. His darts are standing up a lot more. Hopefully for him he fine tunes it enough to get back to his top game. He's gona need to with this young fella and Humphries around for the rest of his career.

I thought the same thing, but his darts look different , either the barrel is longer or the stems are shorter, your right they weren't laying in the board properly

@andrewpark2563 Just had a look at the 2022/3 final vs Smith. He's holding the dart much further back towards the stem. So he's deliberately trying to make his darts stand up more.

@steveramgopal18 when the pressure is highest, is when the new ploy breaks down. It doesn't suit him coz its hard to throw an aggressive dart like that. A bit more feel is required.

Great addition to the pdc great to watch fast skilful look forward to him in some more great matches against the best of the best...

Yep, people are getting carried away. Luke is obviously a great talent, but I've never seen MVG play so badly.

Luke is probably one of the first players who started playing as a child and took it seriously from the beginning. I think Littler will not dominate the scene, because darts has become quite popular in the last 10 years, so we will see more of these talents. He's just the first. Could be wrong though.

Always beautiful to see when a new generation is taking a sport to the next level. But there's also this sad aspect to see the old champions having to witness it first hand while still playing and giving their best and slowly realising that their time at the top might be over.

Had it been any sport but darts we'd have thought you meant he lost on purpose ;)

ur looking at the start of the most prolific dart player of all time. littler will bury every record we have ever seen and start a new phase of darts. his ability will transcend the sport of darts there is no limit to what hes capable of. by the time he is done he will have 50 9 dart rounds on stage. he will have an average over 130. the level of dominance hes about to impose on the dart world will surpass taylor. phil is responsible for this. if he never existed neither would littler. the scary part is littler will create an even better generation of darts. might be a little early to call it but this level of greatness hasnt been seen before. all i wish is luke continues to push the limits of what hes capable of because theres nothing else that can stop him at this point.

I mixed it up with darts and archery Luke should try it he will get all 6 darts in the yellow circle all the time 54 to 60 points
