Bought the base model, we got a great deal on it, 2k back of MSRP. Left us plenty of cash to buy and install the Factory edition parts like the Gyro and Quick Shifter. Thanks for watching!

Who uses rider modes? Besides playing with them, who actually uses or needs them? I do not need a rain setting and certainly I don't need a sport setting or any other setting. ABS, absolutely, but rider settings...seems like a gimmick.

@@kingkrimson8771 my bike is a 2019 r nine t and it has no rider modes so I'm curious, are rider modes a way to justify price increases, or are they beneficial? With 86 lbs ft torque, if any bike needed a rain mode, it would be mine, and it doesn't need a rain mode because I'm not an imbecile. So if rider modes are helpful and you want to pay for them, great. Unless there are modes to go faster, they appear to be a gimmick that many gladly pay for. The only benefit I can see, usually rider modes means cruise control on nicer bikes.

@@tomgilson9180the tech pack is nice, does your bike have ABS? It’s a nice safety net with the modes to prevent getting in trouble on slick pavement.

@@eileen-on-wheels yes all years of the r nine t have ABS, but rider modes didn't start until 21. I can see some benefit of rider modes, but from my perspective (no rider modes) paying for a mode that slows you down, sounds odd, but you seem to find value in them, as do others, as do I (slightly). Where I can see some positives: shutting off ABS when off road, heavy rain/slippy roads, or if someone wanted to buy your bike and wasn't totally sure of their skills, moving up from a beginner bike.

@@tomgilson9180 I like being able to adjust the throttle, ABS, and traction control especially with the gyroscope you can really dail in the bike to exactly the way you like it.
