We will have a closer look at the ‪@abarth‬ 500e. The first all-electric Abarth model ever.
This is the limited Scorpionissima edition made specially for the launch of the model. The color of the paint is "Acid green".
As often with Abarth, the base car is a Fiat 500. And even a Fiat 500e here.
Overall, the car has a pretty nice exterior with a much more sporty style than the regular 500e. The Acid Green color is pretty bold but it suits the car in my opinion. The Abarth 500e sits on a pair of 18" rims.
The interior contains a lot of alcantara as you will see in the video. Stitched leather is also present everywhere.
In terms of performance, the Abarth 500e feels faster than the equivalent Abarth 500 and 695 (thus with an Internal Combustion Engine). And since the torque is available immediately, you get a better feeling of power.
Last but not least: the sound generator or Exhaust 2.0 as branded by Abarth. I find it a great idea and it works pretty well when driving. The only 2 cons I have are:
1. The sound when idling does not sound natural
2. Gear shifting is not simulated (or perhaps this comes as an option ?)
