It was announced today that 2024 will be the final year for the A-10 Thunderbolt II demonstration team. Here you'll see Lindsay M. “MAD” Johnson perform 2 certification flights in both "color birds" at Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson, AZ in early March 2024.

It’s a sad to hear this going to be the final year for the A-10 Demo. Glad I got to see them at the Buckeye and Luke shows.
R.I.P. seems like I been watching A-10 demos from the beginning, surreal thinking it's over.

A friend of mine flew F-16s for quite a while, then switched to the A-10. I saw him after a couple of years and asked him how he liked the A-10 compared to the F-16. He said the F-16 is an amazing aircraft, but the A-10 is what flying is all about! Low level, stick & rudder, “seat-of-the-pants”. It’s REAL FLYING!😄😄
This year is going to be the final demonstration for the A-10C demo team 😢

In the SEA heritage paint scheme, now we know what it would have looked like had it actually flown in the 1960s and early 70s in Vietnam.

Man I really hate to see the Warthog go away. Keep it around like the 60-70 year old B-52, KC-135, U-2, T-38....as they keep flying...keep the A-10 heritage alive too Congress.

At 6:40 there is a white missile like object that flies above the jet, at 6:56 the object is seen again.

This is a sad time in America aviation history 😢I hate to say I folks but we are past the pinnacle of military aviation. It saddens me to see our military aviation sector so depleted and becoming so reliant on a single airframe being primarily made up of F-35A while this platform has its place on the battlefield. We've become complacent in thinking it's the be it all platform. Coming from a time when you still had A-6 intruders flying with F-14 and F-18 E-6 prowlers among many other carrier born aircraft and then F-111s to F-4 phantoms F-15 and the list goes on. Every airframe has its roll.
They will be used in upcoming war fighting or parts,brrrrrt😊😂
