hi jackie, i prepared from your channel not anywhere else, thank you so much..!! i passed my test today april 09 2024... this is what i was asked (it was a video call in uscis office): started with writing "flag day is in june" then reading "where is the white house?" and then civics questions 1. name one war fought by united states in 1800? 2. if president can no longer serve who becomes president? 3. who lived in america before Europeans? 4. who is chief justice of united states now? 5. name one right only for united states citizens? 6. which is the highest court in United states? and no definitions were asked, hope this helps for who are preparing, good luck to all of you !!

Thanks to YOU, Jackie, I passed my test with flying colours this morning and my swearing in ceremony is in 2 weeks! I am British and live in Texas. Without your calm, friendly, professional help, I would have been so nervous but as it was 7:30 a.m. I was too tired to be anxious. Your videos are invaluable! Here are the questions they asked: What territory did the United States buy from France in 1803? Name one state that borders Canada? If the President can no longer serve, who becomes President? Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived? Who vetoes bills? What happened at the Constitutional Convention? EASY PEASY! The officer was very kind and not intimidating at all, he made very nice casual conversation (he himself was the child of an immigrant, as was I) and the whole thing was over in about 20 minutes. The officer did not ask to see my passport, just my green card and TDL. I feel soooo relieved, thank you again, Miss Jackie! One more thing, from application to interview was 6 months.

The interview took about 10mins, they only ask me 6 questions in civics test and proceeded to reading and writing part. Then the last part of the interview is just a verification of your personal info like name/DOB/address/ marital status etc … ☺️ FYI, live in California, the oath taking ceremony was done on the same day! ☺️ no waiting time!! you’ll get out of the building with your naturalization paper and all❤️ Hope this comment helps someone on their interview. Thank you Jackie for your videos, I found them to be helpful for studying for my Citizenship test, which I am proud to say I passed 4/7/2024. One thing I think is important to talk about is at the ceremony, you a given a package, and in that package you have a leaflet which briefly explains what to do next, one import thing to do is change your Social Security number, I feel like a lot of people miss this.

I thought you now have the option to do that on the N400 application and no longer have to go to social security administration.

For the elderly, who have hearing problems due to our age, more important than the listening answer to the question, is the question itself. This is because when we read the question we know what the answer is but, we have a hard time trying to listening and understand the question that are asked to us. For this reason, I suggest a video in which the question is repeated several times to accustom the ear. Thank you.
