I participated with Tyler, Brennon and Noah to the 2024 Timber Mountain Hare Scramble, part of the AMA West Hare Scramble.
It rained all the night before and for most of the day during the race, making a slop of all trails.
My camera got very wet from the beginning, and cut off most of the audio, sorry for that!
The race itself didn't go too well for me, I had a bad start and broke my front fender on lap 2 (at 01:19:05 ), so I spent 15-20 minutes fixing it just to be able to keep riding.
Overall I didn't ride bad, just a few mistakes here and there, still need to work on speed and execution. The track was very challenging mostly due to the wet conditions.

the course was good! Some muddy hills were scary, I'm glad I made it thru without major crashes!
I was right next to you on your right. That was a brutal race. I had to pull off early

it def was brutal! I was lucky to fix my fender and finish
Good riding dude. Very tricky conditions, but you didn't stop behind anyone on a hill a second time after the first guy held you up and you kept your momentum. 👍👍 Looked like a fun day at Timber mountain.

Hey Randy I was looking for you but couldn't find you! I had a blast! Not a lucky ride but well, I was in survival mode at the end. The last hill I got stuck again behind someone, I need to learn to look further ahead of me and react quickly.

@dirt_rider I wasn't able to make this race. Had my daughter for the weekend and she didn't wanna camp and go to the races, especially in the rain. Ya looking ahead and keeping momentum is very helpful. You get 20' each side of the course so anytime someone stops, gets stuck or tips over you gotta go around without stopping. So helpful to keep moving, keep from getting stuck and stop log jams.

@dirt_rider Unfortunately I don't think I can make any of the AMA West races as they changed the schedule back 1 week that means all the races fall on weekends I have my daughter. But have a great time dude. I will be cheering you on and waiting to watch your video.👍
