For me, SVT is the inspiration of all talented new groups who are underrated right now. They started from a small green room but now look at them. I have been into kpop since 2017, and I listen to all kinds of groups of all generations, if the lyrics are good and meaningful then I'm in. I'm not saying this as a carat but SVT's lyrics hit differently, as if they reflect our daily life's struggle, pain, and hope. Even though they are from the 3rd generation still they give us performances as if they debuted recently. They deserved this award a long time ago, don't get me wrong, MAMA is blind and corrupted, otherwise, they would get it away before this. People should respect every group and every idol and celebrate the justifiable winning.

Other groups having 10 to 20 minutes of all moments video and Seventeen having all moments video for more than 30 minutes shows how much they are loved

Just like PD Shin said in his post. I agree to him that they are the true definition of "Idol" who didn't surrender to got this award. Imagine,being an Idol in 9 years plus the year when they are trainees they still together,no one wants to leave even they didn't win Daesang on MAMA says a lot that they are really passionate and love what they are doing. They even know 7 years of being in Kpop Idol is a "curse" in their industry but they decided to renew their contract. And here they are receiving their first Daesang in MAMA but still being humble,considerate one appreciating others that all of them works hard ,with or without received an award appreciate them because this is not an easy job for them. Meaning "Idol should not give up on their dreams if you really want to achieve big someday". And SEVENTEEN being an Idol are the true definition of Idol of Idols. They truly a positive band. They win "slowly but surely". I don't know really what words I will put on this comment because I have a lot word to say but I will save it for now.

Svt claiming their throne as deserved.

Yes!!!! They're respected in the industry for what they've built and how far they've come but even more so they're loved by their juniors because they're so supportive. They were told svt wouldn't make it far, but they're making a difference by cheering up their juniors and giving them the strength they themselves didn't receive. have so much to say towards svt, from self-promoting their group because their agency wasn’t well off when they first started off, to how great they are now in terms of vocal skills, entertaining abilities (ie: gg svt), i have to admit and it is in fact true that the 13 boys have came a long long way. Of course there were times when they planned what they wanted to do in the future such as opening a cafe together rather than being the celebrities they are right now, but i’m so so grateful that they persevered throughout and hence, landed to where they are today. Honestly, i feel that it is not purely the carats efforts that they can win the awards they got, but it comes from within them: the passion, the love, the effort and the energy the give out from and put into for each individual song and mv released. Every member has their own role to play even if they themselves find themselves to be of little use but definitely svt would be different without any of them around. And for seungkwan, i would like to say that not just moonbin, but everyone will be proud that you and svt got the daesang awards and for sure, achieving this milestone is not easy and nonetheless, carats like me will be proud of what you got and hope that you are proud of it too! Cheer up seungkwan!! and most importantly for svt, i hope that they are aware that even if they enter military, we will forever support svt and to woozi who has been producing music for svt, how can we have good music without you around? thanks to you, we are able to have delightful and supportive music sang by svt :) SO SO emotional now, so i will type till here but svt! i love yall so much and thanks for being a source of support and comfort for me when times are hard because one reason that made me persevere throughout was going svt ❤️❤️

Carats were definitely a part of this win, but Carats did it out of sheer love and honesty because Seventeen actually gave us such lovely music, and there's no way we wouldn't shower the love on them. ❤❤

I still don't understand how come some people throw bad and hate comments toward Seventeen. They're surely warm, humble and likeable. Their passion for their crafts is on another level. They're hard working and multi-talented. There's something different and special about them. I've been a kpop stan who only love 2nd gen idols from 2008-2022. I tried to stan other groups but I couldn't. Till I found Seventeen recently this year and I fell so hard. They're the most perfect group I've ever seen. Please, Seventeen is nice kids. They don't deserve all the bad things. I hope Seventeen will only walk on a flowery path 🥰.

@@Hannie_my_Joy nothing is missing from SVT...they are performance kings. They create their own songs, they have a royal and large fandom, they have members who shine with their own characteristics. Their songs dominate digital Korea and Inter, even GOM is the first song from BB to reach number 1 on Melon this year. They are perfect, that's why many people can't accept it, What's more, Carat is also known as a good fandom, not a toxic one like most other big fandoms. And what's more, SVT was born from a small agency with many members but it was successful so that's why they have a lot of people who hate them. 😂

세븐틴이라는 그룹은 예전부터 알았지만 판지는 이제 몇달 안됀 캐럿입니다…아주나이스라는 곡으로 처음알았고 파이팅 해야지…손오공…음악의 신까지….이제는 또 컴백이 얼마 안 남았네요…. 네…원우의 수상소감…캐럿이 아니라면 이해하지 못할수도 있는 말…누군가에게는 소중한 친구고…형이고…동생이였을 문빈님을 언급하면서 승관이의 진심어린 마음…13명 중에서도 제일 긴 연습생 생활을한 쿱스가 얼마나 행복할지…둘이서 그만두겠다고 손잡고 회사분들한테 말하러 갔던 정한이와 슈아…또 처음에는 세븐틴에 대한 확신은 없었던 우지가 이제는 세븐틴이라는 그룹에 확신이 생기고 다들 실패할거라고 말했지만 당당하게 9년차에 대상을 타고 틀에박힌 생각을 깨버리는 세븐틴… 누군가에게는 짧지만 누군가에게는 한 없이 긴 시간이였을거고 누구보다 기다렸을 캐럿들과 맴버들…다시보니 또 울음이 나네요… 지금은 13명이라는 맴버수 그대로 10주년이 되고… 곧 13명이서 하는 단체활동 보는데….이번 활동이 끝나고 나서부터는 13명이서하는 활동을 몇년간 못볼거라는걸 알기에…다시 13명이 모이면 재계약할 시즌인걸 알기에…그 많은 맴버중 최애를 못 볼거라는 것도 알기에…이번 컴백도 열심히 응원하겠습니다…..

I love these boys so much. Thank you for showing the industry that being a bonded team and working hard will reap results. Even if it took a while, it was a well deserved daesang and best believe that everyone in the industry and your fans have recognised your efforts. One thing about this team is their never ending passion for performance and pushing the boundaries of showmanship as a group. Mad respect for seventeen, you guys inspire the world so much. From an ARMY: CONGRATULATIONS!! I'm happy for Seventeen that finally got the recognition they deserve and I totally cried when Seungkwan spoke. They are the most complete artists out there, even though they don't make music for the "Tiktok hits" and their company doesn't promote them everywhere, you can't deny their talent. Their discography is amazing, they work hard with passion since the beginning and they love each other like family, just like BTS. I got really emotional during their award acceptance speech🥺. Them sharing their stories, also remembering till now how they got looked down when they just debuted..shows how deeply it affected them. I think there are people who get overnight success and svt who got overtime success and recognition they deserved, you can see that they were not surprised when they received the award, as they knew it was overdue for a longtime...Hoshi taking that steps with pride holding hands of Scoups and pushing woozi for expressing his thoughts, also each member taking their time to speak..trying to control the mixed emotions of gratefulness and relief for the achievement. I remember when svt got their first win for pretty u at music show, how these three leaders cried,...that almost 9 years ago....how far have they came💙💖💎 Disclaimer:"It's only beginning" svt is hungry for more and so are carats....plzzz don't tell them wait anymore😅...let's fast pace..and strive to the top💖💙💎

i really felt it when the mc said "finally its them". i started stanning seventeen in 2021-22 but since im a carat now i feel like its fine if i say it. we as a whole SEVENTEEN & CARATS waited very long for this. SEVENTEEN really really worked hard since the beginning and it paid off today. just like seventeen said, all the artists worked really hard and everyone is amazing, i hope all the artists get to receive awards. im not sure if me being a kpop stan/ multistan is forever or if this is just a phase but what i know is that i'm never leaving SEVENTEEN & CARAT fandom (along w TXT lol). although im just 16, things have been very tough for me but when i listen to/watch seventeen i feel so much better. this really feels like home. since im typing this in April, i think this is the last ot13 comeback we will be getting maybe for the next 5 years since the members will start going to military. lol its such a pain stanning a 13 member group but i will be waiting for them. SEVENTEEN i love you !!

We have seen and stood with them as they slowly but surely, silently and unwaveringly grew til they have become the colossal giants they are today. This is so beautiful, you are incredibly beautiful. I'm glad to meet another soul SVT has touched ~ they may never know the depth of our gratitude, but it will forever be written in the stars.

when I first started voting, I never took it seriously. But this year, it felt very different voting for seventeen. It was a bit of a thoughtful choice while clicking on 'vote'. I was seriously hoping that they could win at least one trophy, but they ended up with four. It took them 9 YEARS to get their first daesang. you can see this from their performance that day, their final speech, and their faces. I'm honestly just very proud and happy of seventeen and their success over the years. I've never cried this much for a win, but this one is fully deserved. I hope that my love reaches all the carats and the members💌

2016년 MAMA 가는 비행기를 우연히 세븐틴과 같이 탔던 기억이 나네요.. 그 때는 세븐틴을 잘 모르는 사람도 많았고, 알더라도 왜 이렇게 멤버가 많은거지? 하는 사람들도 많았는데 지금은 13명의 멤버인게 엄청난 강점이 되었지요 👍 우지님의 이 상을 받기까지 너무 오래 걸린것 같다는 소감을 듣고, 이들이 한계단 한계단 걸어온 노력과 인내의 시간이 훅 느껴져 저도 모르게 물개박수를 보냈습니다! 항상 새로운 도전을 하고 최선을 다하는 모습이 존경스러운 팀입니다 ❤

I can't imagine how deeply it must have affected them when they just started and had to receive such backlash. Really proud SVT stood together and fought and at last are proving themselves. Also contrary to what happened to them they are incouraging their junior artist that they know how hard this occupation is to survive but everything will be fine if you keep going on. They are the truest representation of an idol. They are such talented and intelligent people, but what makes them even more impressive is their high emotional intelligence, their empathy. They are so loveable because they are so friendly and nice, and are one of the best seniors you could have in the industry. Such people don't just have fans. They have admirers, well wishers, people who would genuinely respect and love you. Seventeen has had the most organic growth I've seen and I am so happy and proud that they finally received the awards they always deserved. Better late than never. Seventeen also showed how dedication, devotion, perseverance , team work, and patience can actually make your dreams come true. They showed how everything happens at your own pace, and you just have to keep going. You can rest for a while, but not give up. Seventeen is an inspiration for many. 9 years of being in the industry, and yet they have the energy of the beginner shows how passionate they are and how much they love what they do, and such a modest, grounded attitude that shows in their work, and automatically becomes amazing. Seventeen rightfully deserved every award they got, and it's only and only because of their hard-work and lovely attitude. Carats were the companion in this journey. This year was a rollercoaster ride for Seventeen and Carats with so many injuries and other things, but I'm glad the sign-off happened with a great news. SCoups joining them to receive the Daesang made everyone's day..we love our ot13. Being best at synchronisation definitely reflects the hardwork and good rapport between the members. You can be professional, but good chemistry can't always be faked. The genuine relationship between them is like a cherry on top for their performances. Seventeen - The theatre kids of k-pop, the synchronisation kings, the performance powerhouses , visual of visuals. I'll always wish for love, success and peace for Seventeen. ❤

SVT 2023 speech and BTS 2018 speech will always be my most memorable moments of MAMA ever. I will never not cry while watching these. SO PROUD TO BE AN ARMY AND A CARAT!! ❤

Of all the groups I have come to discover and loved since 2009, SEVENTEEN is the only group that I admit that gives me all of the purest emotions I could ever feel as a fangirl. Although SVT debuted in 2015 and I only got to know them in 2018, watching this makes me feel I have been there since day 1. I am so proudof them that I could not contain this happiness. Haven’t watched a MAMA show from start to finish since 2020. I didn’t even knew the time for this years mama (I still voted tho) but I opened the show at my work for few seconds after I found out about it and right at that moment the thing I was waiting for 7 years happened 😭 I’m glad they left that arena with their daesang I’m so so so proud and emotional ❤ I love you guys so much and wish you guys nothing but happiness and health

Even tho I've been an army since a long time ago, watching them receiving this award truly made me happy. They deserved this award and truly showed what teamwork and love for their fans is. They didn't give up and continued to be strong and worked hard. Seeing them trying hard not to cry made me tear up, you guys are worthy of it. Let's love each other for a long time. What I love about them is they're not the type to try to stay and look pretty. When they perform, they give it all like their rents are due yet still have their fun. When they're off stage, they vibe along and had fun like their usual self. When they once again received another achievement, they thank those who they're thankful for right from their hearts. They're everything to me, and I just love everything about them. I love how they have this unconditional acceptance and love for each other without judging others too, which is basic for human being, but you all know how it's hard to find among society.

there are ppl (various fandoms) who like to wave the fact svt is in hb now but the reason hb acquired plds is bc svt is so successful despite having come from the ground up in a mid-sized bankrupted company, making them the biggest from a mid-sized company and despite not being part of big 3+bh (before hb). while it is ignorant to say hb did nothing after acq (though it does feel like that and all they've done is expand on the success svt already had in the parts of asia they have had pre-acq), svt's success is majorly their own doing, their passion, their sincerity and their genuineness towards others. It is their sincerity and genuineness that leads to their lasting relationships and friendships with those in the industry who continue wanting to work with them and root for them. They are an inspiration because they are truly dreams, hard work, and passion will be rewarded. They are real about the fact that it isn't happy all the time, that they need to do the things they don't like, that they need to work hard. but they don't lose sight and all in all, with the hard work they've put in, how is that not inspiring?

I've been a carat since 2016, and I watched their growth from just a rookie group to now they have become role models for several new idols. They really prove their hard work from the bottom up to where they are now. Really touched, because in recent years they have continued to make achievements. SEVENTEEN was the first group I stan, and will probably be the last. I feel like I have grown up with you, now I have even entered college. SEVENTEEN and CARATS! You are all great!!
