The VW Golf GTI has a loyal fan base, but so does the Volkswagen Polo GTI, which is more compact and therefore closer to the spirit of the original… Golf GTi. Since June 1, 2023, you can order one of 2,500 copies of the Polo GTI Edition 25, a special range launched by the brand to celebrate - you guessed it - the 25th anniversary of the sport Polo.
Performance
In 1998, the VW Polo was first adorned with the three iconic GTI letters. Then there was an atmospheric 1.6 with 125 hp under the hood. A quarter of a century later, the little bomb has come a long way. Its 2.0 TSI engine now develops 207 hp and 320 Nm, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.
Price
To maximize efficiency, all extras are standard on this Edition 25: a suspension lowered by 15 millimeters, special rims and sports seats in black and red perforated leather. Like most current Polos, the GTI Edition 25 rolls off the line in South Africa, in a factory that opened in 1951 and is still the largest car factory in all of Africa!. The Polo GTI Edition 25 can be ordered for 39,845 euros.

Looks good but until VW adds Electronic handbrake and auto hill hold I won’t buy one. It’s mad you can pay £30k on a new Polo yet VAG won’t put a convenience and safety feature in it! The market has changed and very competitive. You can get a one series with more features with same budget or Golf GTI from within last two years and still get lot more car.

It has autohill hold and who the f#ck needs an electronic handbrake?? You would take all the fun away🙄🙄.
I have a VW Blue GT myself, but this car looks stunning in every way, but I don't think you have the option of a manuel gearbox, which is a shame

L'unica pecca di quest'auto "e lo dico da polista" è la scarsa qualità delle plastiche... Poi spero e qst vale per i motori diesel che non abbia problemi agli iniettori come il mio vecchio 1.6tdi
