"In a credit market, there was virtually no differentiation between a great company and a lousy company" -> Investors instead of letting companies default or go bankrupt kept throwing money at them. In Howard's new "Sea Change", this will no longer hold true. Very interesting point to think about, thank you for this interview!

Great discussion. However, it was interesting that he spent a lot of time talking about how investors should ignore macroeconomics, then he moved straight on to talking about how we're living through a new "sea change" featuring higher interest rates, which seems like a judgement about macro to me.

These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.

Something comforting about the conjecture that everyone's macro analysis is similarly varying gradations of garbage. This is the opposite of gaslighting.

Mostly based on your comfort level with risk. Better off sizing in when things go your way when trading an account with mini futures or high leverage. In this manner, your initial stop loss is still a respectable one. However, if you trade micros or with minimal leverage, you might as well start at "full size." Although it increases the win percentage, micros still have a stop loss that is not very near to the entrance. IMHO. For your own convenience, I would advise you to seek professional advice.

I agree, having a brokerage advisor for inveesting is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008, I was really having inveesting nightmare prior touching base with a advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $850k with the help of my advisor from an initial $120k investment.
