I can't get enough of this channel. When I think about the courage it's taken for you to tell the Filth to get stuffed when they tried to shut you down, I cannot help but hold you in the highest regard. Then you factor in the quality of the videos you're producing, it's just awesome - thanks Tea Pot.

My two favorite things about my 2018 Street Triple R are: 1) it is nimble or flick-able. 2) under full throttle from 8,000 -12,000 rpms it is always a thrill and never fails to make me smile.

Good choice on the street triple. I have a ‘22 model that I absolutely love. The only thing I wish it had is cruise control. People complain about the wind. I have a small tinted windscreen that makes the airflow smooth. I have no issues cruising at 80mph. I’ve had it well over 100mph with no issues. It’s a naked bike, you’re going to get air. For just a fun mc that just rips up twisty roads, it’s hard to beat. It’s comfortable; I frequently do long 4 hour rides on mine without issue. It’s faster than I need it to be. It handles far better than I can push it. It’s refined; the shifts are smooth, the brakes are insanely good. It’s smooth as can be. It’s just a brilliant bike; I highly recommend it. 😊

I own the previous incarnation, a Black/Red 675R... 2014 model...As far as I'm concerned the Street Triple is the bench mark of this genre. It looks great, rides great and sounds great...It just keeps getting better...never seen or heard a negative review on these bikes...I ride mine on the great country/mountain roads of Valencia España...They handle beautifully, are sure footed plus are very 'flickable'....whats not to like...

Picked up one of these last week, so much fun to ride I’ve already had to get first 600mile service carried out and that’s all been social riding. Couldn’t wait til July for the red so snatched up the silver ice that was immediately available. Absolutely no regrets - I call it the ‘stealth’ colour option - & at £11.295 was £200 cheaper than the red or yellow. Keep up the great vids/reports Bruce 👍🏻

Great vid! I got the red one 🥰 It's beautiful and amazing. First thing i did was putting on Pirelli Rosso 4 on the bike before i even rode it, live in sweden, not spain... I've done 890km on it so far. Im 171cm and 65kg, and it really really moves with me on it. I really feel like this is more than enough for the roads, not even interested in more power. Suspension is somewhat stiff but you feel the road which i like, and it's adjustable of course. I have only ridden it in road mode during the run-in period, doing the first service on tuesday, gonna try all the other modes after that. Amazing bike. love it.

Although it would be great to have the USB already up front, a good point is the battery is only under the cover at the front of the fuel tank ( well it is on the 1050RS) so no having to strip tank off but if you do the down side is it will not be isolated when ignition is switched off. Great review, pity you didn't get good weather and some nicer roads😁

I owned a 2018 765RS here in the US, and I'm considering a '24 year model. My only complaints were the mirrors vibrating at speeds above 50mph, and the huge turn signals we got in the US. Other than that, the bike was just a speedy knife carving up the asphalt.

Naked bikes arent popular because people dont want wind protection. They are popular because people want sport bike performance with comfortable ergernomics and they are sick of the so called sport bikes that you cant ride for over a half an hour without breaking your back. What people really want are sport bikes with fairings but with naked bike ergernomics. This Street Triple RS would be the perfect bike with a fairing. What good is all the power if you dont feel comfortable using it because the wind hammers you at anything over 70 mph. Ducati got it right with the Supersport. And i wish other companies would follow along. People are sick of having to ride back breaking track bikes on the street. The first sport bikes were not like that. Like the 1984 Ninja 900. It had a full fairing but you could still see the engine. It had a flat comfortable seat that a passenger could also be comfortable on. And it had comfortable orgonomics with nice wind protection. But somewhere along the line companies lost sight of the fact that sport bikes are for the street. And that is what forced people over to naked bikes. But it's time for bike companies to realize whats going on. And go back to making sport bikes for the street.

No Jonathan, that’s YOUR personal opinion bud - there are plenty people out there who enjoy riding sports bikes, Baird’s etc and aren’t bothered about wind protection or comfort. Each to their own, everyone is different, that’s why there are so many different types of bike available out there. If manufacturers did as you say, then we’d all end up on the same bikes - how boring would that be! It would just be millions of GS’s… best bikes in the world 😉🤣👍

Thanks for sharing your exciting and enjoyable ride. I really love the new colours, and the yellow appeals to me. I have a '21 R and am still massively enjoying it so not thinking of any changes in the forseeable. Obviously the RS is much "more" but I don't really need the extra performance. You don't look too big on it despite these being fairly small bikes and your quite large size. You seem very comfortable and accomplished riding the bike so I wish you many happy and safe miles ahead. :>)

This in the yellow could tempt me back on another Triumph, I think it is currently their best looking bike, and the best Street Triple they have built.... I do very much want Triumph to give us some funky coulours for the Speed Triple 1200RS though, as that would make me seriously look at my finances to try and find the money for one. I saw a dealership had converted the 1200RR into an RS but with the electronic suspension, and had also painted it the fluro yellow of the limited edition Moto2 version of the Street Triple, it looked incredible!

Fantastic video Bruce! As a fellow 'Tuber I'm guessing that little "12mm longer" graphic over the handlebars took far longer to make than you'd like to admit! Great use of the drone too for the shots with you sat on it. Now as a bike that has pretty much all the toys, I'm disappointed that it doesn't separate wheelie control from TC, and that tiny mirrored rev counter display is just an abomination! But everything else looks mega on this bike 😁

Like for like the obvious comparison to the 765 RS would have to be either the 2022 MT09SP or the XSR900. Both brands have triple cylinder engines, 6 axis IMU, similar performance and pricing plus the Yamahas comes standard with Cruise Control

I agree with your opinion on the Pirelli Super Corsa’s in the wet. In a downpour with standing water they have frightened the doodoo outa me; and I’m lucky to get 2000 miles out of the front tyre! My fuel consumption is in the lower 40’s and so I can’t understand the smaller 15L tank on the latest models from the 17.1 litres of my bike. Just fashion I guess!

It can be compared to the Yamaha Mt09 SP, but what I like about the rs765 is the 5-inch screen, the 15L tank and the fact that it has torque at higher revs and the motorcycle seems much more controllable than the mt09, which has 90Nm at 7000 revs!

Great video and a lovely looking bike - in the past, I found the finish in Triumphs to feel a bit low budget: paint and logos weren’t great. Have they improved this?

I cant class this bike in same cat as the hornet/mt07 or new suzuki. There entry middle weights, then i think another catagory is premium middle weights like this, the ducati monster, ktm duke, what ever mv agusta have, and maybe the z900 and mt09 sneak in aswell due that they do have bigger brothers.

Just bought this bike in this colour. Absolutely love it! One thing about the headlights, I thought it was terrible at first. But adjusted it to be *just* at cars hoods, and it is insanely bright now. I can see everything around me on the country roads for possible deer. It's as good as my 2018 Miata's headlights, honestly. I also always run high beams. Idgaf if people feel blinded. The amount of trucks that are far worse... doesn't give me any remorse

I traded in my 2020 RS three weeks ago for the 2023 model and it's hard to believe that Triumph have made such improvements on what was already a great bike, the steering's sharper but still absolutely planted and the shorter gearing has made acceleration in low and mid range revs much peppier, my only slight gripe is the TFT which is much more crowded than the previous model and TBH I think the one on the R is better as it's simple but shows all you need to know, I'm with you on the tyres and come the end of summer I'll be changing to Pirelli diablo rosso 3s or 4s.

Looks great and would love one as a second bike but have just bought a new hornet which is £4500 cheaper and not in the same league of course. Except for the dash which is better. The dash on this and the last gen RS is not very good. What's going on with the rev counter? Also the R model dash is not great either coming off the Tigersport 660. They should have fitted the one from the speed triple

Good choice 👍🏾 I have the Speed Triple Rs , trust me the Street triple is way more practical, it’s a bit gutless at low revs but that’s just because I’m used to the Speed 180 bhp , the Street triple is way more comfortable

At that Rpm it goes a bit nuts tbh , in 3rd gear you’re already at 70 mph so imo it’s a bit of a waste, The Street Triple is way more useable and 130 bhp is plenty! So ride both but don’t rush into it like I did , given the choice again I’d have the Street Triple, if money is no issue then the Speed is definitely more fun because of the torque 👍🏾
