Where? I have tried to get my hands on a manual since 2019 and they don’t build to order anymore = the dealers receive “Allocations” and I have been all over the country from Florida to California trying to find a dealer that will get one without any success. That’s not customer service = one pissed customer.

@@js-wv6fj You can't "special order" a new toyota now. I've called numerous dealers. All say it's not possible to special order. You can "order" vehicles that are in-transit to the dealer, but I don't really consider that ordering imo. That's just reserving something that's already coming in.

I had a 2006 Tacoma TRD Pre Runner V6 SR5 Single Cab. Literally an ‘all in one’ type of package. Paid 26,000$ for it brand new. That thing was bullet proof I loved it for 16 years. Now they’ve created a category separate for each one of those. A couple months ago I bought a 2022 SR5 Single Cab for 40,000$! My how things change😂

Really need a redesign. Missing a lot of things I'd expect by now including a hybrid option and more driving assist and camera options.
I just put a deposit on a 2023 TRD Pro Tacoma (Solar Octane). I bought my current 2019 Tacoma (TRD Off Road Double Cab) January 2019. I currently have just under 250K TROUBLE FREE miles - many of those in 4WD!! Yes I drive a lot and the Tacoma just makes sense to own. I have a horse farm - surrounded on 2 sides by a river…my truck gets used. We have a lot of vehicles, and have owned many different vehicles, most costing MUCH more than my Tacoma. I have found the Tacoma to be a terrific value and a fun truck to own.

If you do off-roading a lot you need to get the locking differential. My sport model doesn’t have it I’ve yet haven’t come across a situation where I needed it. Grant it I don’t off road Locke crawling rocks or anything like that but I’ve gone through mud, water, soft terrain climb some steep inclines and made it through like cutting through butter with a hot knife. Next tacoma for me is the TRD Pro
If I didn't have such a bad experience with my last Toyota completely blowing up at just 50,028 miles and both Toyota and the dealership refusing to do anything over 28 miles past extended warranty on a 2019 $78,000 truck, I might consider buying a new TRD Pro. When someone purchases 60-90 trucks every 5 years for a company you'd think they'd get a little leeway when their own personal vehicle shits itself just outside of the warranty for a problem Toyota acknowledges was there tens of thousands of miles prior. It's okay though. We traded in every single Toyota, bought a whole fleet of F-150's (which have had zero issues and most are over 90k miles btw) and parked them all at the Toyota dealership until the police made us leave. Never again Toyota!

I really like this midsize truck.
I had a 2003 Tacoma SR5 TRD with 3.4L. I'm waiting for a Tacoma with a hybrid system. 20mpg or less mpg is unacceptable for a compact truck. My 2003 got 16-19mpg. Let's go Toyota, get with the times. We need better fuel economy with compact trucks.
Bring me out to an event! lol 👀😬

I like how Toyota quietly snuck by without ever giving it a mid-cycle refresh. Essentially it's the same truck from 2016. I still think that front-end and busy front bumper doesn't flow well with the rest of the truck. The base model 2.7 would serve it's purpose as a utility-work truck a lot better with a tried & true manual transmission option. Good luck finding a manual with the 3.5 V6. It's pretty limited on the trim package availability list. Also, it would be nice to get an interior in a different color other than black. Some of us like to see where stuff is located in our trucks at night.
