The fifth generation of Toyota’s self-charging full hybrid electric technology is the heart of the new Corolla.
Total power from the 1.8-litre system is 140 DIN hp/103 kW, bringing a 1.8-second reduction in the 0-100 km/h time to 9.1 seconds. Despite this performance increase, CO2 emissions are lover by 2 g/km and equals 100 g/km.

The Head up display has gone😢
I don't like with all these hybrid-electric models of Toyota, the limit of top speed is only 180 km instead of the 200 km top speed of the normal patrol engines (as in my 1.6 Auris june 2013, 132 HP) which is an acceptable (at least for me) top speed especially for a 30.000-32.000 euros price of a new 1.8 Corolla car... It's a good thing the "economy" but not at expense of the "top speed"...
