For when you plug accessories into the 3 prong house plug. It lets you know which power level it’s running (engine on recommended)

You helped me more than the dealer. They didn’t know what some of the buttons did, same as me. Holy crap.

I narrowed my list of 4Runners down and started requesting OTD pricing last Friday and some Monday. Yesterday a dealer 2 hrs away dropped off a TRD Off-Road Premium in my driveway at 8.3% under MSRP. I knew you get better deals towards the end of the month. Will be looking for a new vehicle for the wife and plan on hitting the dealers the end of December. Hers will be a little more difficult since we have a trade in. Good luck, car buying can be quite stressful. I passed on 2 other 4Runners because they had extra features I didn’t want. One was 10.52% off MSRP and the other 8.6%.

Thank you Brian. I did not see a cell phone holder anywhere, could you mention what make or model device you are using for your phone ? ( if you are using one in the 4Runner ) Anyone here have any suggestions on a cell phone holder for the 2023 4Runner could you mention please ? It seems like a pick one " mess up the dashboard " then try another. Thanks.

Very informative! But you forgot the 2 buttons next to the around view. 1 turns on the outlet in the cargo area, and the other one cracks the windshield!

How much over MSRP?

Hi, my question is about the H2 to h4. My shifter gets stuck and then grinds when i try to use it monthly. I even took it to the dealership and it got stuck with them as well and was grinding. I have a 2023 trd orp. Do you know what could be causing it to get stuck and make the awful grinding noise. I almost dont want to move it because i feel like im going to break something.

I have watched several of your exceptional videos hoping to find a way to set the mpg to continuous display along with the odometer. I just don’t think it’s possible. Please tell me I’m wrong. 4Runner 2022 limited.

That heats the bottom portion of the windshield to release the wipers if they are frozen to the glass...comes in real handy in crappy cold weather !

One thing to note- on my new 2024 i just picked up this July, i adjusted my locking/key fob settings and it resulted in the fob unlock not functioning. Even when you go back and revert to the default settings, the fob won't lock/unlock the door, unless you use the handle. I checked on the 4R forums and this seems to be common. The fix is either to use a Carista-tool to adjust them on your own, or to go to the dealer and have them fix it.

Great video… you should do these for Toyota! Now, how do you day/night auto dim super bright display? I saw your “theme setting”, but when you press “display” button on 2024 4Runner it doesn’t have 2nd tab?

Hey just so you know. If you hit menu button on left of radio screen, go to setup, then vehicle, customize, and there should be settings in there for the parking assist

On the 2023 SR5, you cannot turn off the Eco light.

did you skip the buttons to the right of the panorama button on drivers side of the steering wheel? :)

I just bought a 2023 Trd pro, the last owner never used the navigation system and could not show me how to use it, could you do a more in depth tutorial about putting in waypoints and routes, I am used to Garmin as all my vehicles have an integrated Garmin 10 inch marine system installed in vehicle dashes, but this Toyota does not allow Garmin integration and the window is to. Narrow for my tread xl.

I just bought a 2023 TRD Sport in Canada, and it doesn't come with the fast charging dual USB in the front. It has a 12v charger and the dual USB-C ports in the back. Any idea why?

Canadian models/packages are different from the Merican ones...you should also see that some of the features in your TRD Sport are ones that come in the Limited in the U.S. model. I think we have 5 models to chose from whereas there are about 12 on U.S.side

Took a 2024 4Runner out for the day, not sure if I should buy now or wait for the new redesigned one. I have a Rav4 Hybrid so the 4Runner mileage scares me some but the ride and comfort are great for us taller people. What to do what to do?

I have a RAV4 Hybrid....I'm using it as my daily....I'm about to get a 5th gen despite the new one coming out soon. Why? Well same reason I got the 24 Camry XSE v6. Last of the naturally aspirated engines. Last of the simplicity. People ar underestimating the ramp up time for technicians to be comfortable with all of this complexity. Feel free to be the guinea pig for them. I'll get the current gen as it's an already instant classic and is proven. This new gen? IDK but the Tundra recall is giving me pause...there's a lot to love on the 25 but the decreased space in back seat, cargo, inability to have it flat in the back and the drivetrain is enough for me to avoid.

Hi Brian, Thank you for sharing information and I have question about connection to CarPlay. is there anyways can connect CarPlay wireless? Because my iPhone 11 where is the part to charge its mess up. My bluetooth is connect to my vehicle but the option did not show for CarPlay to connect. I saw your other video about CarPlay but the screen its not the same as my 4runner 2023...thats why I post the question on this video.

@@brianruperti No worries and thank you. I just find out that 4runner gas cap does not have lock....so that means if anyone wants to steal or put something in the gas in there....Very poor design by Toyota for 4runner.

Look under the seat next to the 8 track / turntable. There's a button there that will cause the media center to transform and viola your CD player will be there. You're welcome.

THANKS--- I'm about to buy one soon- and this will be HANDY to watch multiple times before that-- so it will feel very familiar when I get one---- as to the primitive, ancient stuff-- GREAT- that's BETTER-- I HATE all the new tech, screens, buttons instead of shifter levers and all that BULLSHIT... they're RUINED vehicles and driving as far as I'm concerned.
