Protect this man at all costs
Going from interview to interview with the same questions from everyone. He still answers every question thoroughly with his big smile. He said on Norwegian TV that he looked forward to all these interviews were over so he could go celebrate with his buddies and talk some shit, LOL. He must be so tired both physically and mentally. He is unbelieavable both as a golfer and person (great role model). Its funny cause when he speaks Norwegian he sounds like a young cheeky guy, while when he speak English he sounds so mature and he is so good at expressing himself in English. As a Norwegian I am really proud of him. 🙂

Another Norwegian goat along with Magnus Carlsen, Erling Haaland, Karsten Warholm
Couldn't be happier to see Victor win the Championship. Great golfer and came from a place that owns snow skiing, not many golf courses in Norway.
Probably the nicest guy on tour and who i would enjoy a round with
First time hearing Victor in a press conference. Such a likeable guy, you can sense the sincerity
What a credit to the PGA this man is he just has the character that is good for golf and the PGA. I was rooting for him
I think we need to put the spotlight on as many Norwegians as possible. They seem awesome

Fantastic interview indeed. Another very memorable one was Mickelson’s 2021 PGA Championship Interview: kzread.info/dash/bejne/mImkrrqdnqm1f7w.htmlsi=Xj8Bp-Z7_uvBz4eK
incredible mindset and thoughtfulness from the 25 year old!
I Admire how Viktor handles himself in an interview and and that he’s Not Let His Success Spoil Him. He Deserves to go Far in the Golf World ❤
Most other players answers short and quickly and just want to be finished with interviews and looks bored. Viktor probably doesnt think interviews are that fun either HOWEVER he always answer every question very thoroughly no matter how many times he has gotten the same question before and with a smile on his face. He always show so much respect to everyone. A fantastic representative for Norway and a great role model for anyone 🥰

He’s Norwegian, they’re all like that, modest, reserved, understated, humble. Same goes for Denmark, Sweden, Finland.
Wow, Viktor really has a great attitude and his game has been super solid...I have always thought the slight fade off the tee is the most consistent approach. He has the accuracy and is long enough, so he will be good for many, many years. He is fun to watch.
This was cool to watch back to back wins! I remember when people said he was “the resort king” now look! The sky is the limit for him, he’s literally the coolest guy!
Great life lessons within this interview
The old expression that honesty is the best policy, we are reminded of by the forthright expressive ways of Victor Hovland!
Gotta love this guy!for a Norwegian he sure has a grasp of the English vernacular
He has really good attitude . I think he is going to be a really good player for a long time. It’s been fun to watch the last couple of weeks.
6:20 to 7:12 Listen to what he says. MR. HOVLAND you are more than a stand up guy and down to earth than you know. You make society think twice about what money means.
It was nice to see Viktor Hovland win in terms of the correct issue of the day...nice to see him win.
I grew up in the same city as Viktor. I can't believe my fellow Norwegian managed to become one of the best golfers in the world! And in 2023 he is the best!

Happy for Viktor
So proud of you Viktor, the way you handle yourself and talk about this great game of golf. Gives us all a great perspective on the way you live your life. When you stepped up and hit that 16 foot par putt after the break took guts. Xander played amazing with a final round 62. You could have floundered but you didn't. So amazing, hope you get your props. Congratulations!
This dude is someone I can cheer for He is the real deal Viktor Congrats
Congrats Viktor!!!
It’s only a matter of time till he wins a major finally. He’s become quite the player in the last few seasons, and is easily one of the best on the PGA tour today. Congrats on an amazing season Viktor! Can’t wait to see what you do moving forward!

Indeed, surely needed at this time in golf. Look at how the commisioner was greeted when introduced at the awards ceremony, many real fans hate the focus on $$$, been worried that greed was going to kill the game I have loved for over 50 years. Victor's win makes my heart a little lighter. Great win!
You have to like this young man. So grounded
The improvement and difference between last year and this year is amazing..worked very hard on his short game..Great reference to the GOAT..respect.!!

Thank you Viktor Hovland. ❤️💪🏽🇳🇴 Norge Norge Norge ❤️
Looking back it’s crazy to think there was ever a debate on Wolff vs Hovland and who would have a better career coming out of college. Hovland is here to stay
HEIA NORGE!! Amazing that we now have a top player in sports as football, golf, tennis, running, downhill skiing, beach volley, chess.... Must be the fish! 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴
This guy actually learned to play from watching KZread videos due to the harsh conditions in his hometown in Norway that kept him indoors most of the year. He didn't start playing until he was 11. I mean this is an amazing story.

He got his first golf clubs when he was 4. He did different sports first, football and taekwondo, but chose to focus on golf when he was 11. He didnt start when he was 11., and he didnt learn to play golf from watching YT. He played ondoors when golf courses were closed in the winter.

I just can’t believe that he loves Norwegian Black Metal music……lolol 💪🤟😲
He’s a good kid.
I can't think of a better final pairing round than Xander & Viktor today. $18 mil to boot. Hopefully Monahan doesn't screw up what is a PGA Tour loaded with young, talented, engaging individuals. Hovland's a beauty. Dude seems more Okie than Norwegian. Good balance of both.
Refreshing to hear a young talented tour player without scare tissue ground down from fame, expectiation and greed. $18,000,000 will go FAR in Stillwell, Ok. Think Sergio had to take the LIV $$$$ just to afford his move to Austin,Tx.! The Austin when I grew up in the 70's was a wonderful soulful modest town, not anymore, I live elsewhere. Great job Victor, stay humble!
I seen this coming, months ago when he played against BK. His time was coming. I can't believe the challenge that Zander put up. It was so intense, and most times, people fall apart when that happens. It was that putt on 14 that clinched it. That forced Zander to go for broke. It probably gave him brain spasms, as in - "What do you have to do to beat this guy?" The talent on the field today is unbelievably good, they have to change that old saying.... Drive, pitch, chip and putt - for dough... and perhaps, buy a cool VH shirt for show!

A great FedEx champion - I too tire from these golf reporters asking the same damn questions. How about...."Viktor how is it possible that you have lost ALL of your Norwegian accent?" I mean, seriously, hearing him talk he certainly could pass as an American...especially around Ryder Cup time
Pretty sure Vik can buy Oklahoma after these dominating couple weeks…math and physics is such an important part of golf one of the smartest golfers in the game well earned
Norwegians seem a decent bunch.

Did Bernard Langer play a tourney in Norway 26 years ago and slip 1 by the goalie with some Norwegian lady?
There really has not been a golfer; other than teeger, that has been able to hold it together. So, Hovlin has the hott hand, now, but the guy will go the way of the rest, he will fall off the radar screen. I mean, so he is the favorite going into next year, but forget it, he ain't gonna win a major, and he ain't gonna catapult to some new orbit. The sizzle will sizzle out.

LOL, what a foolish comment. He is one of the best from the tee with his driver (he hardly hits it into the bush/trees like most others), He is also one of the best with his irons. He has developed his short game enormously. He is always trying to be aggressive and go for the hole. He is the best from the rough and he has made eagles and birdies even from horrible lays. He is calm and collected. What in his game says he would never win a major as you arrogantly claim? He will win several majors, just wait and see. This year he was very close and he will only get better. He has shown more than any other to be cosistent in the top. He hardly misses cuts (none this season). Btw who is Teeger and Hovlin? Can it be that hard to write their names correctly?
