Adaptive cruise control is missing because of the hardware limitations and here all other cars win , which are equipped with adas because Harrier and Safari have hydraulic steering. Other ADAS features are good but people mainly use Adaptive cruise control , which is quite good in bumper to bumper traffic and highways too. But here is the catch too , because we have seen many accidents with XUV 700 because of the misuse of the adaptive cruise control system. So at the end it is a win win situation for both brands and customers.

The only thing tata safari/harrier misses out is adaptive cruise control,lane keep assist,pilot assist rest all features are close to xuv 700 and even have more than that.But my doubt is does harrier/safari have a rear radar🤔?

Can we get a *blockbuster series edition on safari from pd ,it's been yrs, waiting for blockbuster series

Tata is always the best

Rohan just puts some sort of charm or its his passion that is always reflected in the videos. Without him pdarmy videos doesn't feel complete.

Finally Tata did justice to the Safari by giving a bigger info screen with much needed ADAS suite, just to lock horns with the XUV700... and the new top of the line Safari dark edition is an unparalleled beauty ❤

Awesome display of AI, but apologies for asking you this question - with diesel engines being discontinued by all the giants, TATA is still on it, can we expect that they will launch harrier/ safari gen 2( not another facelift) with petrol engine and totally migrate to that. This would solve two problems/ issues for them- 1 . Get a fresh designs/ looks for these two vehicles. 2. Get into petrol with lesser Ex show room prices and give a tough competition to its rivals.

One question - I am running at 60kmph..and that 20kmph sign board appears, will the car reduce the speed by 40kmph immediately? is it dangerous for vehicles behind? and then in country like India 20kmph is not really 20kmph for others around, so once activated can we increase the speed in that case to avoid honking and abuses from drivers around?

Hey I think that engineers would have taken all these thought process and have trained the system well. The system will only do the needful if its safe to do so.

AI is a hyped word wherever we want system to take decision we term that system as AI. Though these decisions can purely be taken based on sensors input.

ADAS senses, where AI predicts. What used in this car is likely ML.

Well there is no galvanised steel used in these cars,for me car starts at the base variant of Skoda and Volkswagen.

Just a thought. So if the average Indian driver chooses to take a little bit of care and see and judge the surroundings before acting in their vehicle, we won’t actually need this right? Right?

And the good part is we can switch it off , if we don't want the features ! Especially it will be useful in the city traffic

ADAS is great..the features TATA has added also kudos...however, theyre missing one obvious required feature for long distance and highway commute...is..ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC) , WHY???..they cud hv might as well added it to the long list ...i think a big miss at tht..

That's a recipe for disaster if not made perfectly for Indian roads. People would rely too much on it and let the car drive by itself.

I'm usually old school when it comes to electronics in my vehicle but AI is here to stay. And honestly, as long as it adds to the driving experience, I'm a happy man.
