I just put my original wheels back on (my summer use set). And they auto registered. My winter set that I got from tire rack i needed the TPMS programer to program. My theory is the new sensors from tire rack needed to be “woke up” and the programmer did that. I put the winter tires and sensors on 2019 WRX wheels, so they did not come from Tire Rack already mounted.

I would bet you're correct because I have an autel did I specifically bought to read the new frequency of the sensors that my old one couldn't read. So before I put them on the car I went through each one and wrote down the serial numbers and that probably woke them up they say driving and wake them up also but from Tire Rack they did come with a little sticker that's sad you have to initiate them and you might have to bring them to a place to have that done thanks for watching . I think it's a little bit early for me to do that I'm up in New York

Just swapped my tires out on my 2023 but TPMS doesn’t seem to be working. Have the tire pressure light on in the dash. Bought from TireRack as well and paid for TPMS. Hope they installed them…

Have you driven on them for a few miles? You may need to activate them with a tpms reader. Maybe stop by one of those large auto parts chains- sometimes they have loaner tools, or if you’re friendly with any mechanic they can read the sensor data for you. Just be aware the sensors need to be on 433mhz not 315 MHz. To work.

@DjGrip11 make sure tire rack installed the right frequency sensors. If you listed the car type they would have taken care of it like they did with mine. I wasn't even aware there was a different frequency until my old autel didnt work

@@Samlol23_drrich yeah I put in the make and model when I ordered. It’s not showing any pressure at all. Just the dashes next to each tire. I’m going to call TireRack and see what they say. Owner’s manual says to take it to the dealer if TPMS is not working with alternate wheels/tires
