I bought a ZR2 about 2 months ago and LOVE IT! Drove the Raptor, GMC AT4X, and even looked at the Ford Black Widow and Rocky Ridge editions. The ZR2 by far is the sharpest looking to me. No regrets. Plenty of power, lots of cool tech, and killer looks! Mine is white with the black hood scoop. Added after market exhuast and low profile step rails (not like the ones in this video).

@@AutomotiveAnonymous208 If Chevy puts out a truck to compete with the TRX and Raptor I'll buy one right away. Fingers crossed, but my dealership guy says that Chevy is going toward all electric in the future and not doing the big muscle truck thing.. which is pretty lame if my guy's right. I won't buy anything electric unless it becomes the only option.

I have a 2023 ZR2 with 24K. No modifications. Overall fuel economy on life of truck is 15.7 MPG. I follow GM maintenance schedule, all work performed by my Chevy dealer. I run 93 octane fuel as recommended. I have had zero issues with this truck. 50% hiway miles, 50% city, off road (non paved roads) miles. Being able to go on muddy roads, fields is why I got for work as an independent crop consultant and it does not disappoint! I’ll probably try the 3.0 LZO on next one for better fuel economy and less cost to drive as diesel is on average $0.30/gal less than 93 octane.

Nice review of the ZR2. Its not for me, seems to be dated for 2024 model. 400 mile of range at best with a premium fuel at $5 a gal is painful. This ICE truck will not hold its value for very long. The other variants of the Chevy Silverado EV line up is looking more interesting if you are going with the pricey $80k range. I think it would be better to charge at home every night than tank up twice a week and still get the same or better performance out of the truck.

Comparing the 75K ZR2 to the 80K Silverado EV is like comparing apple to oranges, the ZR2 can go places the EV can't even dream of off road. If you want a fair comparison, the 55K LT w/ 3.0 diesel (29mpg) vs the 80K EV, the 55K LT w/3.0 D has a range of 696 miles vs 450 miles on the EV, the EV is the work truck and the LT is a mid trim with more options included. I am NOT against EVs, once we start comparing apples to apples, I'll be the first in line to get one, but we're not there yet, peace.

In 2021 you could get a Silverado Trail Boss with a 6.2 liter for 49,400 dollars,, my new 23 Colorado trail boss was 41,200 it’s a mid size truck but not much smaller than a ful size Silverado,,, and actually bigger than older full-size trucks or at least taller a little narrower, cause my new Colorado towers over my 02 Silverado! It looks like the bigger truck,,,I think these full-size trucks are getting too big, a 2014 Silverado was perfect size
