As a Connecticut native, I've done this exact fishing trip at the mouth of Long Island Sound, hundreds of times! You just bring binoculars and look for the rest of the boats. They're either at The Race, Block Island or Plum Gut, following the birds and baitfish. Stripers and Bluefish tend to travel together and once you're into a blitz, it's one fish after another until the feeding frenzy stops and kicks off somewhere else. Once you see the birds crashing, you gotta be quick with a center console boat to get in there before the rest of the armada! 😆 It's some of the best ocean fishing you'll find anywhere, if you're at the right place at the right time.

Grew up in south eastern mass. You boys hit the perfect time. Excellent show proving the abundance and commitment to a world class Striper fishery. Thank you George. Again a top notch show

There’s great striper fishing in Deltaville, Va as well. I would limit out every outing. What a great eating fish!

New England definitely has the Big Stripers (World Record, CT). I was just at Mohegan Sun last week for the Boat Show. It's an old show, but the info is priceless. Happy 2023 GP

I had to look that up. Just shy of 82 lbs - caught in 2011 in LIS in CT waters. How about that! 2023 might be an off year, but there is always potential out in the Sound.
