it looks really good but i think non-alternative hairstylists constantly get this wrong. the signature emo side swoop is commonly place at the side of the head swooping from on side of the head to the other in a feathered out way. not in the middle as this can give a Karen-like feel LMAO.

As an elder emo, I love it! I think the only way to make it better would’ve been a more drastic part for the swoop. But it’s come a long way from when I was using a shaving razor and safety scissors 😅

It's good but it’s not really scene (nor is it emo). It doesn't have the iconic side swoop/bang. I'd honestly say it's just an alt haircut, if I had to specify, then grunge.
