What kind of scoring is this? The gymnasts have their legs separated in the air, basically doing splits and they are getting execution scores of 9.0. How?

for any of yall that are confused with the scores and why they’re so high: russia has never been good at power gymnastics. while in a russian championship this is quality work, in any other championship they probably wouldn’t even make the top 8. unlike the US, their forte is in artistry and elegance, hence why bars is their best event. vault is an american forte because its a power event, we can even say floor’s up there too. that’s why in 2011-12 we saw so many american gymnasts even in the junior division have a solid amanar.

It’s just that your favs aren’t true AAers. 😂 There are plenty of artistic vaults and vaulters. Just mad your favs aren’t any of them.

Russian devochki, what the hell? This was YOUR sport. You wrote the manual (or rather your coaches did). This was painful to watch. Any inside explanations why Russian gymnastics has fallen so far? You're still the artists of the sport; I can't stand the style of the Americans, frankly, but they're killing you with difficulty.
