I just picked up my new Starbucks Mk2 from my local AD two weeks ago after an 18 month wait. I really love the Mk2 bezel, it really pops in daylight. Much prefer it over the darker, drab Mk1 bezel. It's more like the original Kermit. Didn't get the white tag either, no big deal. Some AD's give it, some AD's don't. We are both lucky to get a 70th anniversary version watch in the 70th anniversary year (2023). Very lucky indeed !!

I would cut out the serial # you don’t want yours to be the next replica #

Some ADs don't give the white tag unfortunately. Coincidentally, I just got mine too but got it from another AD and they did give me the white tag and it does say 0002 at the end of the reference number but it's ok. It's nice to have but it won't affect its value in my opinion. Enjoy it! I know I will enjoy mine. Love the new mark 2 bezel tone btw. It's reminiscent of the kermit from the early 2000s plus it's a 70th anniversary so I think that makes it more special.

This watch has the same model number as the Starbucks , it’s the same watch , just a lighter bezel. It’s a toss up when it comes to which bezel to choose they both look great

When I bought my submariner I was in a “mixed” area, I brought a raggedy looking backpack into the store. I carried my person protection and I asked for no bag and just put the box in the backpack. I kept my head on a swivel walking back to my car. It’s too bad, It used to be that you could be proud to hold a Rolex bag with your new watch. I have both the new and older ceramic sub. The clasps are exactly the same length. This new one is just a mm wider.

I own MK2 from AD on 2023/11/2 ! And I sold MK1 8 months ago.

0002 indicates it is the LV. 126610LN-0001 is the black sub date.

The Mk1 has a green bezel color, typical of Rolex brochures. The Mk2 has a lighter green color, but not as bright as the original 2003 Kermit with an aluminum bezel. Mk1 was produced for 3 years only ( 2020-2022/2023). In a future it will be a treat for collectors. MK 2 will be in production probably longer 2023-? Both the Mk1 and Mk2 are great Subs , the most sought after Submarines today. You're a lucky man.

I received my first Rolex 10 /23 ,and I received all tags and bezel guard, 126300, I guess each AD has there on rules , I requested the green SUB now the waiting game , I was told it may be soon, it's getting easier more available.

Showing the serial number to the internet was not a good idea. Almost equivalent to sharing a credit card number except you can’t cancel your Rolex SN.

I own both mark 1 and 2 one month apart so both are pretty recent purchases, it's weird that I was able to keep everything like the whole sleeve, both tags, case back, crown and clasp plastic attached but then again my dealers know I'm not a flipper. The mark 1 is short lived less than three years as Rolex had a six month delay releasing them due to CoVid, I just can't decide which one to keep or stay with both.

That’s a difficult decision man!

I always get the white tag with my AD purchase. Rolex does not stop them from giving it to you. You should edit out your serial number or it’s going to end up on clone watches.

No, they just opened a month ago. I kept going by and creating a relationship with my sales rep. Since they are new they didn’t have a customer base. It helped me a lot

Nice man enjoy your new watch. How long did you wait for the Watch. I am currently on the register of interest for the Starbucks coming up to 2 and a half years wait time for me. I have bought 3 Rolex models from the AD including the Bat girl. I think the AD can not be getting that many of these watches through the door. Takes to long. Hopefully soon.

Hello sir! Great video. Maybe I am confused but is this watch not the Starbucks? I thought the Kermit was discontinued in 2010 replaced with the Hulk and now with that being discontinued in 2020, Rolex released the Starbucks, correct? I just recently asked my AD for the reference 126610LV. She said she added me to the interest list. Yours has a -0002 after the reference number. Is this a different watch than the one that I ordered? I apologize I am just very confused. The watch looks beautiful, congratulations.

The Starbucks was replaced a few months ago by this watch. This is a different shade of green. Same ref # as before

My AD gave me the price tag. Although I got the MK1, on the price tag I have the 0002 on it. The serial number matches to my watch. So I don’t think that the 0002 applies for the MK2 generally

The thing for me is I also have other watches in the collection as well. I like to switch off. Sometimes I wear more than 1 per day depending on what I’m doing. I am crazy like that 😂

I actually like the deeper more emerald green of the “Starbucks” much more.

kermit MK1 green look really like frog/moss colour, vintage classic yellowish green, i ever bought 2009 kermit at 2015 and sell it again becoz dont like the colour, that time 2015 im really like hulk, yachtmaster choco, daydate 2 roman choco, but i dont have the money😢

I got mine in February 2021, It says -0002 on the receipt.

There isn’t a “70th anniversary Sub”. Rolex does not advertise or even acknowledge a 70th anniversary model. Rolex would give information if it were an anniversary model much like they did with the 50th. It’s just a slight color variation of the Starbucks released in 2020 which os a outstanding model.

0002 represents the LV. It’s not the mark II. I bought mine in 2022 and the hang tag has 126610lv-0002 on it but it the original green.

Congratulations on the watch. It is the same watch from it was introduced from 2020. The names Kermit/Cermit/Starbucks are what watch enthusiast call it. Rolex does not reference these names for their watches officially. So please do not say this is the actual Kermit vs the Starbucks.. it is the same reference number from when the 12 series Submariners were released. And like someone else said.. for the love of god hide that serial number.

My MK1 has the white tag that also has the reference # end in 0002. LVs always had that not new for a MK2. Green bezel, black dial Subs are all Kermits in my opinion. They've changed the shade of the Pepsi bezel 20 times over the 60 years and it's always a Pepsi.
