Every time when I unbox a ROG laptop it automatically put a smile on my face and eyes shines. Weird but yeah it happens for me.

I have the g15, 2022 version of this. Asus if you are listening please make sure the plastic notches that help increase gap between table and laptop are stronger. Mine are completely worn out.

No idea why Asus renamed it, now both M16 and G16 are almost the same with intel cpus. Before it was team red with G15 and team blue with M16.

What a beautiful box! Loved it. This is classic.

A complete waste, all monies should go into the laptop and charger, all securely and safely packaged in a plain brown cardboard box. There are a few few people at Asus that need a slap, about this and other things.

Looks pretty nice, but white will probably not be available in many countries again and a 720p webcam really is disappointing, especially if the G14 now gets a 1080p one.

@@apexfalllegendarium349 I am in the exact same situation. Especially looking at the prices for the new G14, the 6900hs with 32gb for half the price looks pretty good, even without USB4 and an old 720p webcam.

Zephyrus better build quality, significantly. Victus is plastic wobbly creaking garbage.

it depends on what for. i was thinking of buying a strix, but the model took away from the seriousness i need. so i opted to gamble a little more money and chose the rog zephyrus G16. I went for aesthetics, power, and lightness. I currently use it to record my music sessions, music production, DJ sets, and it is quite quiet and comfortable to use. I really recommend it if you opt for a premium product. the only problem would be the connectors on the left side, they become uncomfortable.

@@arstarot6688All sides of connectors have disadvantages. I like left placement personally because it allows easier access to dock it to monitor and has USB for mouse on the right.

M16 has higher configurations available: 4090, 145w, 64gb ram max memory, 1080p camera, anime matrix. G16 goes up to: 4070, 120w, 48gb ram max memory, 720p camera, ethernet port, costs less.

With DDR5, this would have been a perfect laptop for me but with DDR4? nah. Also worth a wait for AMD version of zephyrus.

@Mo A but ddr 5 improves battery life much more and with intel chip and ddr 4 in g16 battery life would very low And why people choose Zephyrus line up is its non gaming looks , office type looks and can handle gaming and battery life outside of your setup And ddr5 is 50% more efficient means less heat = less stress on machine

Anyone with this model? I have bought and on the first day after several windows + BIOS updates, the wifi icon gone! I did everything. Downgraded BIOS, reset windows, but nothing helped. Please! It is now 4th day and I had to give it back to the store. Does this happen to anyone else? I am using ROG ZEPHYRUS G16 i7 12700H. Please try updating all drivers from My Asus and also update windows... Am I only one who faced this issue?

I bought this laptop. But i have 1 problem - bad sond ... on the dinamics ver bad sound, quite, hav nott bass, and damaged sond, like bad chineese headphones. But when used headphones sond is normal. This is sad(((

Am I the only one who found the viewing angle of most gaming laptops annoying? They look like from early 20s. Asus really must consider more oled or mini led in their gaming laptops it is 2024 for gods sake. only rog flow 16 and zephyrus duo has good display the rest rog are terrible.

Strix is significantly cheaper plastic but slightly better specs for the price. And EDGY FONTS, EDGY LOGOS EDGY LINES

This is an instant flop let’s not kid ourselves lol. All recycled parts and not even amd wtf is this. Only saving grace is buying the white model as many love the aesthetic.
