Nothing better, than a day on the water! Plans of sailing from Lake Michigan to Puerto Rico, solo! Talk about a long ride! Gonna have aa breakfast and a sunset stream daily! SSo looking forward to this adventure! Should be setting sail next spring in the Northern Hemisphere! Truly love these boats! Quite incredible to see where boat tech has come since the 80's!

I though some of the sustainability stuff was just a bit of feelgood green-washing, but honestly that fairing repair solution is actually practical in more situations than race boats.

Amazing racing, I saw up to 42 knots on the display! Peter Burling’s a pretty good commentator even though I know he’d rather be out on the racecourse. I hope Hans Henken ends up okay, I met his sister at the NYC 2019 event.

The trouble with carbon fibre is that when it fails it fails suddenly and without warning. Pretty scary with the forces involved with these F50s - that NZ accident was a shocker. It's only a matter of time till someone is hurt, I'm afraid. But without CF this kind of performance wouldn't be possible so I guess the risk simply comes with the turf...

How long does the wrap last and what is the savinng over tape and cling film , I’d suggest none . An absolute pr bs exercise when these boats and teams fly around the world owners arrive and leave on private jets super yachts ring the course and well heeled spectator’s are fed and entertained in temporary venues also moved from venue to venue . Not to mention the camera crews , everyone drinking bottle water , and any EVs being charged by diesel generators . Just accept you are not I the least serious about climate change and why would you be with global temps dropping since 2020 , and the whole premise is to exert control by the elites on the proletariat.
