After all these years Jeremy still cracks me up😂 Along with John and Mr.Adam you can’t beat this. A solid 10 years of great racing& commentary like no one else. Even with the slow decline in edge due to regulations, this is still as good as it gets for road racing. I just hope you’ll soon hit that mail back and repost the insane classic 400hp 90s battles on the same tracks. Cheers!

My goodness that Camaro GT4.R is a monster in the right hands, it's older then anything here and still sets the pace at the end. Not to mention their strategies, they usually seem to work, unlike so many others during this race. Prime spectacle !

road america always puts on a great race. for me this is better than the big boy series. robin liddell needs to find a bigger team to drive for cuz he's clearly the best driver in the pilot challenge considering how far back he has to come from after getting the car from depew.

I think he's moving to GTD next year in a Corvette but he's going to be with the same team. Maybe Depew will field 2 Corvettes and let Liddell have a different co-driver. I'm sure he's getting paid handsomely by Depew.

Great race. Congrats to Morad and team Alfa. Did not expect a win from the Mercs or the Camaro as the German seem to get the best BOP’s. They are always flying comparative to the other cars. Great strategy call for Morad and Liddell’s teams. That was the only way to overcome the BOP advantage of those cars.

Mercedes is German also. The Camaro was given the win post race because the Mercedes was DQ'd and moved to back of class for exceeding it's allowed fuel capacity.

Np, the Porsches have been fast in several races but I don't think they've won any races this year. I wish the Mustangs were more competitive especially at a HP track like RA. I can't think of a better way to keep team and manufacturers interest than BoP these days.

LIke what @eikeSky said its Grand Sport, and I think they change the name from GT4 to GS because it has something to do with the BOP that is provided by SRO who helsp develop the regulations for GT3/4 and 2... they do the same thing with the GT3 cars in Weathertech renaming them to GTD and GTDpro

Yup, same with GTD, GTP, TCR. Having a different class name allows a different bop (because IMSA seem to be significantly better at it than the ACO!)

its always been 720P, I think its because Nascar/NBC provides whatever cameras they have for the IMSA events and its not super high on their priority list seeing as how the races are much lower viewership than Nascar or other weekend sports, and they also go free to watch on youtube shortly after their on TV

@@imsaofficial In all fairness, this was before they had to pit the extra time, which seemed to offset the clear speed advantage. So BOP worked the whole thing out.

Winner of GS was DQ'd for...wait for it...carrying too much fuel.

The car was moved to the rear of the class for being out of compliance. Post-race technical inspection revealed the Mercedes was found to have exceeded its fuel capacity.

@@imsaofficial What's with all of the cheating in IMSA Weathertech and Michelin Pilot Challenge this year? That's 4 winners that I can think of that have been dq'd after the race. Also seems like the first year where there's been so many penalties during the races for not meeting minimum refuel time or whatever.

I know that the track workers are probably all volunteers but they seem to be all slow, old and overweight which is why the yellow flag at the beginning takes so long.It`s not easy to clean a track if all you do is just kick broken parts around with one`s foot for the first 5 minutes.
