Love your reviews, you do more than most on KZread. Only question I have is, do you think your chrono may be a little off? I’ve watched a couple others and they were a little closer to ibo than you on this bow. But anyways, thanks for the hard work you put in on here for us viewers.
@RobertWilliams82-22 Жыл бұрын
I’d figure you would need a press to move the shims because the cables are off set to the right (on a right handlers bow) which would pull the cams that direction while under pressure
@chadcousins2563
Жыл бұрын
According to PSE you should use a press to take some tension off the limbs to relax them prior to removing the shims. And the measurement of the shims needs to be a total of like .220 when you add the two shims together. Sizes are marked on each shim, so as long as the two shims together give you that .220 measurement then they will work. If you want to see a proper review and demonstration of this bow and the shims actually being changed in this system go over to Lancaster Archery Supply’s KZread channel and they have a great video showing in-depth everything on this.

I've seen multiple reviews (like this one) on this bow suggesting the shims can be re-positioned without a bow press, but on the PSE website their video indicates the bow needs to be pressed in order to re-position the shims. Can the shims be safely re-positioned without a bow press?!

Yeah, it’s faster because it has a 1 and 1/4” less brace height. That means less forgiving. I’m a bowhunter. Forgiveness and accuracy over speed. I owned the Remedy and the Enkore. I sold them both in favor of the Mach 1. I have this bow on order. Super smooth draw cycle, super light, plenty fast. I’ll probably buy the new Prime when that drops. There is no best, only personal preference. The specs on the Omnia are dogshit in my opinion.
