dont know much about You dude but at least ur being honest, prices might go up or down, market making and speculation on 992 gen GTs and prev gen GTs is real and is crazy, given cars are limited to how usable they are on the road, love the gt3 rs: 1.1 1.2 and 2.1 but cant make time to go to track too often so will stick with 2.1 gts

Interesting commentary that didn’t touch upon the current stock market trends, except when he said “there seem to be come cancelled orders”. In NA, I have recently seen plenty of ~20 year olds with supercars at car meets, I suspect all that is about to change…

Personally, I think prices will drop, you can already see drops in real estate, cars and paintings etc will be the first one to go once the interest rate spike and recession hits. + they made a boatload of GT3RS. Long term they should be stable

I like your theory, seems very logical that a holistic view of the wider market would pull everything down in a recession. One thing, in the UK there are not that many GT3RS actually. Let's see what happens, I'll do a follow up video next year to see where we are at...

Price are dropping not because rich people making less money during recession. Because you were told we are in recession. All manipulated.

Madness to pay 400k for a car that’s only worth 210k, someone will lose a ton of money when they pay when over the top, some people have more money than Sense, if I were spending 400k on a car it would be a car that costs 400k to start with.

Agree. I've heard of a European build allocation being offered for 460k, so looks like my theories in the video are in the right ball park.

Also far too many people jumping on the band wagon of KZread making in a month what some people who work hard all year for, the world has gone mad, some of these young lads must be making 10s of thousands per month, it needs to change.

Hang on. You say the GT3 prices will be pulled up. 30seconds later you say they could go down. 30seconds later you say they will go up. I am sure you have thought it through but your explanation is all over the place and comes across as totally nonsensical.

Appreciate the feedback, apologies for the confusion. Quite a few variables at play for the 992 GT3 as they are still in production. They could go up could go down, but I don't seem them moving too much (until the 992.2). Where do you think they will go?

no way can it beat the GT black series. too many long uphill sections and straights where the car doesn't have enough grunt. It may beat the GT2RS which was only running on Cup2.

You could be right, my thought was this is why they haven't announced the record yet as they think they can beat it in cooler weather.

Didn’t realise the GT2 RS lacked grunt 🤔, GT2 RS MR is all about down force not out and out horse power , had an amazing lap in the Apex GT2 RS MR, the weather was that hot the tyres were slipping on the rims 😳

The whole market is going to be pulled down. The biggest recession is coming (already started), doubling (in some countries) of inflation in 2023, interests rates going to 3-5++ % - theres only so many buyers who can withstand the storm to buy at these values knowing they’re likely at the peak.

That's interesting, where have you heard that? Here in the UK, the consensus is 1 car per dealer and allocation will be very difficult to get.

I think it’s semantics. Some would classify limited as “numbered” cars in that they will only make “x” number regardless of how long it’ll take. Others would classify limited as “only built for a specified amount of time”. The latter is what made the 991.x models limited as I believe each had a “Porsche will build as many as it can in a 1-year span (minus the factory summer holiday closure period).” Since the GT cars are built on the same assembly line as the other Carrera variants, this naturally limits its numbers and hence the 1-year + special parts supply availability (remember the 991.1 bucket shortages) constraint prevents a “car for everyone who wants one” scenario. As for dealer allocations, the US has different criteria as high volume dealers often get multiple allocations while some may not get any. This was simplified following the original 918 Spyder buyer incentive program where the buyers were given first dibs on special models for a set amount of time, which also influenced dealer allocation numbers (i.e., a dealer that serviced an original 918 owner could get an allocation on top of that).
