2021 Taycan 4S owner with 15k miles as well. Similar experience :D
We got the S with 7 speed manual, rear-drive only, no rear axle steer, no PASM, no PDCC, no front axle lift, no sunroof, no lane-keeping, so it's driver's car. It's very close to this current T model but with more horsepower and bigger brakes. It''s probably 250 pounds lighter than a fully loaded C4S. I might have ordered this car had it been offered in 2021 but with price increases, this car now costs what we paid for ours.
The 911 silhouette is timeless
There's so much demand for the manual gearbox from car enthusiasts who also happen to be the ones who buy these sports cars, I just don't understand why manufacturers like Lamborghini, Ferrari and Audi don't make them anymore. Kudos to Porsche for still keeping the manuals alive!
I own a 991 T , and can’t ever see a moment when I’ll have to sell. It’s gives you everything you need for road Porsche. I’m toying with upping to power to 450, but its beautiful as it is
Perfect review. The talk/drive ratio is just right. 👍
this was my first SG video... really enjoy the format and at just under 12 minutes, it's the perfect length for a review. SUBSCRIBED.
Loved the 991.2 Carrera T, love this one too! It's irrefutable that the base engine and manual transmission are far and away the best for daily driving enjoyment.

That's why even though I've never owned a Porsche yet, I love these awesome machines because for all their great and fabulous engineering most of all Porsches are so user friendly, they're just so incredibly thought out and they make any driver feel like Michael Schumacher. Awesome, supremely built machines that can be the weekend racer to the everyday commuter if you're so inclined. But my Porsche model is the Cayman S & GT4. But you can't go wrong with any of their models... Simply Amazing Automobiles. A million thanks, Rest In Peace Mr. Ferdinand Porsche, and how we adore your creations and the Porsche Brand.

Awesome guys, as always. Its just a nice pleasure with your reviews.
Especially with the rear seat removed, the 718 GTS is a lot more car for $91k vs $117k for the 911 T. However, I understand the driving experience of a rear engine Porsche is significantly different than a mid-engine variant.

Yes, I currently own a 718 GTS 4.0 and I previously owned a 2019 Carrera T and I see no reason to purchase this car over my 718 other than it is a 911 over a Cayman. I got my 2019 T at a small discount and my dealer called recently offering me a new Carrera T allocation for $10k over MSRP. I do not see this car as the same value as the 991.2, especially not at $10k over retail. The engine in the 4.0 is a lot more special, in my opinion and the 718 GTS has all the performance parts and then some that this T has. Seems like a great car but too expensive at this point and not the value that the previous car was. The only advantage to this car is you can tune it and get the same power as a Carrera S for a lot less money.

"It really seem like Porsche is the pinnacle of automotive engineering, isn’t it?" Is that the excuse for not having as much passion and soul - and as many charming flaws - as Ferrari, Maserati and Alfa Romeo? 🙃🙂 I kid, they are obviously very good but terribly German and Teutonic. Italian sportscars of course have a different flavour, as do Japanese sportscars as do British ones. I'm not sure it is as simple as saying one type of sportscar is "the pinnacle". The 911 is certainly the most developed flat-six rear engined sportscar but the new (rebodied Evora) Lotus Emira is also very good as is the new Ferrari 296 in a higher price bracket or the McLarens, or the GTR or NSX on the Japanese side of things...

Great video on a great car. makes me rethink my Cayman S. Love the blurred speedo!
Excellent video Amazing road/ corniche
You both are right about this car. This is best car made now. Porsche knows what they are doing. Thanks for the nice review..
I agree wholeheartedly that this IS the sweet spot in the 992 lineup because I own the equivalent in the 718 lineup via a 2021 Cayman T. All of the good stuff standard (PTV, Sport Exhaust, S-PASM, 20" wheels, short-shifter, etc.) from the 718 GTS minus the NA 4.0. If you don't care about leather-wrapped everything, the current gen Ts in the 992 and 718 lineup are super-hard to beat. Mine is a perfect driver's car and gets compliments everywhere I go. If you know, you know.
The Steve McQueen movie “Le Mans” was made over 50 years ago and this 911 makes some of the same beautiful sounds heard in that movie from the 917. This car must be an absolute thrill to own.
The fluid body lines with the wide hips of the 911 are so sexy. In combination with a bright color its just a timeless beauty. And don't get me even started with the engineering that is as close to perfection as possible
Well done video. And a great explanation of why this car is amazing.. the three pedal cars are the only cars I would buy new or used.
I appreciate that this vid is so much about all sports cars, not just the car in the title (-8
Have had 4 Porsches in my life 993 C4S and turbo, 996 GT3 and 997.1 turbo..... I think the 911T with big brakes will be the most fun new Porsche out there for the road. GT3RS and GT4RS for the track.
My wife has a 2023 base Macan and we love it. I would love to get the Carerra T in the manual. All you need to have a lot of fun.
I love how people say the 911 is old, boring, etc. it’s one of the best selling sports cars of all time. The fact and sales figures prove that a LOT of people like them. From the base models to the Turbo S, they all sell well. How many production cars have beat the Turbo S in a drag race - not many.

"It’s one of the best selling sports cars of all time." Yes, outdoing the 911 is a nut that the likes of Lotus have tried and failed to crack.
The forward facing camera shots in this video are really good.
Went to a Porsche track day, they had the 911S, 911T and Cayman GTS (2L turbo). Between the 911S and the T, I preferred the S, but the Cayman GTS was the most fun.
It sounds like an absolute masterpiece. Just listening to it is exciting
I appreciate the smaller brakes, it would have been nice if they put more sidewall on the wheel setup.
I just ordered a Carrera T and can’t wait to drive it.
