I had a 01 800 and went to a 600 in 06. That 600 was a brand new design that matched my old 800. Both were 120hp carbureted. Then by 2010 my Rush was Clean Fire injected 125hp. That design was the same motor until the 650. Bullet proof legendary animal. Smooth, no vibration or chassis twist in and out of the throttle.
I love 650/600 series. Lighter and easy to toss. I don’t race across lakes, but tight trails.

Can you by chance do a night time comparison on the headlight on the CC and the nightblade?

Did you notice any ride differences in the Cross Country shocks compared to the revalved XCR shocks?
@JESSEJAMES322
Жыл бұрын
for sure. these have rebound adjust so that is a HUGE compenent into getting these to work right. yes we can change rebound when valving but much easier when there is a dial on the shock to change it. aside form that our revalved XCR shocks are close for sure. this is the whole package though. spindles, pulled limiter strap, quick revving all makes this feel so different
Hey Jesse great video. Just curious if you know if those front shocks on the cross country 600 will fit on a boost? I’m gonna upgrade my shocks next season and I’d like to run those. Thanks

Thank you
600 might be the way to go since my new 850 blew up at 600 miles. Idk what’s going on with Polaris this year but there’s 6 of them sitting at the dealership I went to all melted down on the pto side and all under 800miles.

@@JESSEJAMES322 oh absolutely it does I’m a die hard Polaris guy my last 4 snow checks have been put thru the ringer and never let me down with thousands of miles on them. This was my first walk of shame and to make it worse I got towed back to the trailer by a ski doo lol
🔥 What a sled

A lot of wood real close to that trail, makes me nervous, would Bruce’s sled be considered a XCRR?
@JESSEJAMES322

Very tight trails here! And we’re calling that an Indy 9R!
Wish Polaris would make these more available to non racers. Much cheaper than an xcr and in my opinion a way way better trail sled. I’m still on a ‘18 600 switchback and the power is fine for me. Do wish it was snappier though. Seems like this is bridging the gap

They are 16k not too much different than a xcr 650. Also, there is no warranty, and it must run 91+ fuel. I still want one though.

find a used one of these. they are out there. and i would lov ethe XCR to come like this too but 99% of people that think they want this or need this would get it and say its too stiff and thats why the XCR we now have comes as it does....

@@JESSEJAMES322 yeah, I live right next to hygear so they did the valving and springs for the WE shocks the ‘18 came with and it was WAY better. Stays propped up in its travel much better and is still more compliant in chatter. Most noticeable thing is how much better it was in moguls. Stock the suspension used to collapse after several moguls and the sled would get very lethargic. Now the ability to change directions while blasting across moguls is unbelievable now.

Do your own clutching an gearing. In the future I want another 600cfi!
Good video but you need to sort of the uneven sound volume with some remote microphones from now on.

I saw Sr had one for sale at the dealership; would have LOVED an invitation to come ride that, even after a 11 hour drive JJ. I didn’t snowcheck, so I’m looking! This 600 seems to be the ticket I’m looking for, but need to ride it first! #InviteNextTime ? 😢

How is the 600 vs a 650?
@JESSEJAMES322
Жыл бұрын
very very different. this is way more spunky and quick revving
Is this the same 600 they discontinued on the standard product line? Why would this sled not have the new 650? Implies the 600 is a better motor.

racing rules (professional) limited to 600CC so they had to stay 600. this is the same motor but many different components
