The suspension is superb compared to previous generation and the interior design much like Ativa but with centre cup holder (while Ativa doesn’t have). Can’t wait how it performs in night time. ❤

@@vincwong8498 I’d prefer centre cup holder cause of right hand control steering wheel while my left hand easily pick up drinks in a cup/bottle. I’m not saying the position of it under aircond is bad, but I’m prefer it (centre) is much sense while driving. It all depends on our perspective whether we like or hate it.

Pov height while driving would be better if at actual eyes level instead of fish eyes type though maybe not possible. Good review.
for me, CVT note is still ok if not too loud. what i dont like is driving a car with slow response. i drove my boss’s car once (toyota landcruiser), not sure the year make, its a medium sized SUV, the throttle response is so slow till i dont feel safe driving it.

Manyak kuat bunyi maa. Kete enjin 3 cylinder NA @ turbo tak best. Sy prefer 1.3 / 1.5 liter NA 4 cylinder sbb smooth. CEPAT LA BEZZA 2ND GEN KLUA (1.3L NA 4 cylinder + DNGA) 🧡
Since now already few models with DCVT gearbox, now is the time to see when Perodua will surrender to give up this gearbox. Proton already gave up CVT on Proton Saga is time for Perodua
The fitmen for the tyres tho. I think you can get better fitmen with bigger tyres this time around compared to the previous gen. So many space

I think it’s worthy to consider the X variant. Only gripe would be standard front seats and back seats with attached headrest. 44k and 49k, it would be wise to get Myvi 1.3G or 1.5X instead. Myvi 1.3G also offers ASA3.0.

As confirmation from Perodua stuff, yes it is like in Ativa.
suspension is stiffer. previous gen axia ride more comfortable. 80km/h feels less bumpy compared to axia 2023 and myvi 1.5

The suspension setup is softer in previous one. This is more balance in terms of comfort and handling. And the suspension reacts much more mature and supple.
0-100kmh in 12 seconds, that is a big improvement!

Driving position is better than previous gen. But if it has telescopic will be perfect. Handling and suspension are greatly improved. It felt like driving a more bigger and mature car. Power is more linear and responsive due to the D CVT.

NVH wise I still think the Myvi is a little bit better. Probably due to the 3 cylinders engine used here that generate more noise. In term of handling and ride this has been improve a lot but the Myvi still has an edge over it. Myvi is another segment anyway.

Nice interior design compared to predecessor and some of the current p2 model.... Makes me think about when Picanto was launched and gave a modern interior design where myvi can't even beat it..
The big and tall centre console eats up legroom..Driving my wife Ativa,my left leg and knee always bump into the hard centre console and it is uncomfortable especially if you are a big or tall driver..The old axia even though it's a bit smaller, you can strecth and open up your leg..

How is the steering wheel working when you drive over 80km/h? I drive a Mazda 3 on the the highway at 80km/h, it’s not really sturdy.

NVH level still saga is the best I already test drive new axia better than before not that much NVH level
Digital meter panel feel quite empty.. the analog tyoe is much more lively because got shape and real physical movement... i got oldschool taste maybe.

Same platform. Not same chassis. Nope the suspension setup and other parts they used are different. So there are some differences. Ativa still a better car to drive. But this Axia is already day and night difference compare to its predecessor.

To me. AV will be the most worthy to get. But for some other wise. For me is like the stuff you cannot add on after market if you don't get them. Such as the ASA 3.0 digital meter display etc. So better spec it to the highest than regret later. Of course it is also pricier. Personal preference.
Have they improved the engine noise and the soundproof?

Overall sound proof is better. But you still can hear the engine note from the 3 cylinders engine tho.

Still cannot beat Saga in terms of NVH, and space. However based on the rpm meter, fuel consumption is quite firm to overcome Saga. Saga 4at is hard to beat the DCVT in terms of lowering down the rpm. Perodua still only Aruz and Bezza using 4 at, most likely this year they will let the 4at completely retired.

The other two MC models might just be Bezza and Aruz MC, whereby both changed to DCVT. After that, 4AT will pencen.

Currently hear with headphones The nvh is much improve over my bro in laws Axia gxtra but it's still noisier than Iriz For almost the same price at 44k with Iriz Standard for this Axia X,which one better?

Iriz is an old car. Still waiting for a new iriz if proton ever make one. The nvh, interior stiching imo better iriz. However, iriz lack those fancy safety tech. Myvi got good engine and external look. But the interior look crap imo (dont let me start with red seat in AV). Axia got much improve interior, good looking exterior but lack power. Iriz exterior look like a frog( the back only mother could love), good interior, powerful enough engine albeit old engine. Only problem is that it an old platform.

Iriz is a segment higher car. Besides of older tech and similar or smaller cabin, the fundamentally it is a better car. See what is your priority.

Depends on what you want actually. Bezza has a better engine, a big boot and the Axia has new chassis and transmission that is better than Axia and a more modern interior but it is a hatchback.

For size I think Myvi still better. It has larger engine capacity and longer wheelbase. So in high speed it is more stable and effortless. But not to say this axia is bad. It can do it without any issue just the Myvi is better in comparison. And not to forget this Axia AV comes with advance safety feature which the Myvi 1.3 don't.

Meh, still tak leh lawan king Myvi. 4 cylinder vs 3 cylinder, sedap yg 4 bos. Nnti dtg Myvi DNGA, lg umpppp maaaa 😍🧡. Bile la Myvi DNGA pulak ni, mesti lpas Bezza DNGA kan. Ativa, Alza, Axia, Bezza (confirmed sbb based on Axia) semua pakai DNGA. DNGA ni sedap boh, smooth like butter gicu 😁

I think depends on what you want. If you wanted a more powerful car with boot than choose the Bezza 1.3. If you wanted a hatchback with ADAS then Axia.
