Ever since the pageant is no longer aired on local TV like they used to, they have to downsize.

Back to back for Texas this year.

So happy to see Colombian girls making career in US pageantry!!! I was expecting to see RBonney attending the finals, since she’s the current Miss Universe and a Texas Native

She was in Thailand at the time doing her Miss Universe duties, so she couldn't be there in person

If Miss USA 2022 Morgan Romano was invited to be a Judge of Miss TX USA 2023 then it will be great to have her in Texas

@@mysticgirl916You were right. R’Bonney was in Thailand when TX USA was crowning, @petewong2372 Morgan Romano wasn’t also there either and she was in DC for a sporting event.

Pretty winner, but they need a bigger stage and venue. I remember the spectacular pageants that were held in South Padre Island.

I know right. Back in the day they used to call the Miss Texas USA Pageant " The Venezuela of Miss USA pageants"

We need to understand that over the years, pageants has been losing popularity and only few people like us still following beauty contests through social media. TV is not important like back in the 80's 90's and 2000's. That’s why pageants are being streamed via lives on Facebook and KZread. Since no TV major networks wants to telecast pageants, there’s no sponsors, less money is invested and pageants production is cheaper every year
