These feel like a normal car around town. Where they shine is on open highway. Wind noise is next to nothing. Mercedes is best at wind tunnel design.

Awesome. Been waiting for this review - GLS 450.

Night package isn’t $400, you have to upgrade to AMG package to get that. Acoustic comfort package is well worth it, as well as soft closing doors. I’m glad the lane keeping assist isn’t standard, that thing is annoying. ✌🏼

Is the rear comfort package available for gls450?

Well when a fully loaded Honda Accord is now 40k when back more than decade ago was around 30K, you should expect prices like this due to yearly inflation. I remember buying my first Acura Integra GSR fully loaded in 1997 and it was around $24k. Now the new Integra is easily going for more than $40k, even close to 50k

correct, its made of vinyl some benefits of it is that it is easier to clean and maintain and doesnt stain.

How about S-CLASS

The 23 Palisade Calligraphy has many of these features at half of this fully loaded Mercedes price. Of course, this is a Mercedes and the driving performance is better but IMO definitely not worth 48k extra plus the expensive maintenance.

Value is subjective to every single person. I don't think spending $50k plus for a Hyundai has any value. When I bought my 2017 GLE400 at drive out price of $78k I thought and still think my car has a lot of value and love it. So this GLS going for $90k which is also a step up from my GLE is great value.

Hmmm. Very nice.....possibly. luxury, luxury if you want it. 80k for a platform and now add luxury. I suppose if you can afford a Mercedes you can add whatever you want. It is after all a very expensive embelm. Thx george.
