There seems to be a negative bias in the review which detracts from the overall picture of what is a very solid entry compared to similar EVs i.e offerings from Audi, BMW. Looks are subjective and viewers can make their own minds up, your dislike of the looks is irrelevant. Mercedes cars have always been more expensive than mainstream manufacturers, and the same trend continues with the EVs - they are not for everybody, other manufacturers cater to the mass market.

If you want fluff and dishonesty, I’m sure there are many places you can go for that. How are his opinions on looks irrelevant if he’s the one reviewing the car? That statement is ridiculous. He gave all facts: the car is way overpriced compared to other EVs in terms of range and power. The review was outstanding, incredibly thorough.

Some people like me are just Mercedes folks. I've got a GLS 450 and have an EQE SUV on order. I expect to love it, and during my test drives found it to be very nice. So many of these YT car reviewers give mainly opinion instead of fact, and in order to have something to fill their airtime they nit pick the car. Mercedes, along with many other brands, are just so good nowadays that it's hard to find anything wrong with them that the average user would even notice. Remember when cars routinely wouldn't start, rusted out after 80K miles, needed tuneups, and were unsafe at any speed? Things are so so much better now.

“Any where near highway speeds and you’ll have a whole lot of trouble stopping.” You cannot be serious.

Quite. The position of the brake pedal moves from where you expect it to be when in adaptive mode and feels wooden in its stiffness during a hard stop. After we filmed this review, Mercedes announced 2024 MY changes that address these exact braking issues.

@@northrollingacres - The feel of the brake pedal does not affect the braking distance, does it? What is the stopping distance of the car compared to cars with a similar weight?

It looks like a generic vehicle from a video game. Mercedes really dropped the ball with the design of this car, especially for that price

SO EXCITED FOR THE IS REWIEW

I have the EQE350 SUV 4Matic. My wife loves it but I can’t recommend it to anyone I know. And it’s because of the terrible service I’ve received from Mercedes dealers he in my area. None (3) have been able to solve my low DC charging problem it’s limited to ~50kw. Their service department say the car is charging after connecting it to their 20kw charger. What!

If this SUV is $100k Electric or Gas why can’t it go off-road? Spending this kind of money for a raised up heavier car is ludicrous.

Buying an EV at MSRP is objectively insane

I disagree with every part of the presenter's views.

Obviously he just don’t like the vehicle, my wife and I had a loaner we thought it was very nice I own Mercedes and and we’re buying this as our second vehicle much of what he’s harping about is all choices such as shape and off road, I myself knows anyone that will take a vehicle this expensive and luxurious off road, to much opinionated and nothing to do with facts.
