Have a CX-30 GT in the same color and interior on order! Only difference is I went for the non-turbo as it is just not necessary for me. Can't wait!

The Canadian GT-Turbo is the best year-round intro-lux/enthusiast option. It checks all the boxes: - japanese - no CVT - enough ground clearance for canadian winters - fast and powerful - luxury interior and features (especially w/ Red Leather option) - premium sound system etc. I could go on, but my final point is that this specific model makes the German options completely redundant. (Mercedes GLA, Audi Q3, BMW X2) It's faster and more fun to drive than the Germans while being 10-15k less in price. However, 2 of the 3 German brands offer a performance model that beats the CX-30. (AMG GLA 45, Audi RSQ3) The GLA 45 and Audi RSQ3 are double the price of a CX-30 at about $75k - $80k CDN MSRP. Now, for $80k you have MUCH better and cooler options than a "small SUV". Screw ground clearance at this point, get something badass. I'd get an Audi S5, 3.0 V6 Turbo but still has AWD and a liftback trunk. My point is, for $80k CDN you have options. However, for under $40k CDN, THIS, is the best year-round daily you can go out and buy. P.S. I don't wanna hear no talk about plastic cladding or rear beam suspension. Get the car in Black, like I did. Black with the Red Leather interior is better than any mainstream product YT commenters can throw at me.
