Been up at the bridge 3 times for breakup. Truly awesome. Great drone footage.

Nice video. Its neat to listen to it surround sound in the truck because you can hear/feel the thump as large chuncks of ice hit the concrete pillars under the bridge.

Is it always May 15~ or does it vary from April-June?

It can vary pretty dramatically. Easily a week or more on either side. I'd guess there is historical data someplace but it doesn't mean too much on any given year :). I try to find friends that have been out that way to get some heads up :).

It varies greatly but a few days for the ice to come down. The further upriver you are the shorter the breakup...

Hi digibud, can I use a few seconds of your video to put into a video I'm working on about the Break up along the Yukon River, especially near the Interior villages. I'd greatly appreciate it and put your channel name in the credit. If not, I have some other footage to work with, but thought I'd ask you, since you have some great drone footage. Thank you, and cheers to summer finally getting here:)

If you need a raw clip without the title stuff...holler. I have stills of the Yukon Camp if you're interested

@@digibud I only posted a few videos since starting a few months ago and ask for subscribers in each video. It seems annoying to keep asking, but I wanted to meet my 1,000 subscriber mark in order to get monetized. I had been super busy with family stuff these past few weeks but plan to get a few videos uploaded to make up for my lapsed time. Your drone footages are neat, still need to learn how to use our mini drone. My bf and son are better at it than I, but I'll learn eventually:)
