I really enjoyed driving this on a test drive. It felt very compact, yet it's so spacious inside. I'm shocked you got such a bad consumption figure. Hopefully it improves over time as you drive the car longer. That engine is really nice and spirited, too. I would absolutely live with this thing happily.

You’re spot on there , when you’re driving it doesn’t feel like you’re driving 7 seater , it’s very easy to manoeuvre… With the consumption , I’m not an economical driver at all so most drivers could probably do better.

Looks like the new XUV 700 is a good package. The power figures are quite healthy so kudos to Mahindra. As for those seat adjustments, all I will say is *cough cough* Mercedes Benz *cough cough*. Also a huge thanks to PA for the awesome shots. Went to Tzaneen at Magoebaskloof Mountain Lodge some time back so I recognised the road and it brought back some really good memories. The fuel efficiency is not good but it is not bad either. The price is also ok cause you get quite some car for your money. I also did not like the rear design but that's a small complaint really. Thanks for this subscribers special. This was a great review. May the channel continue to grow and may we the viewers continue to support MrhowMuch.

Thank you for the great content covering my home area, and I agree about Magoebaskloof Road's beauty. When looking at the XUV700 and X55, I also see some similar design features between the two. It seems like they share certain touches and design elements, don't you think?

Great review, not many people know the early engine tech was based and started from/with JEEP. So not to worry about the reliability. As the old saying goes, " If it works in India, no need to ask experts. Just go for it".

Jeep was based on petrol engines. They never had diesel engine. But mahindra started with only diesel engine. This m stallion petrol engine is developed by mahindra itself.

No Electric Tailgate but I’m not complaining given it’s price and you’re right if you’re into off roading then the Scorpio-N is the better car , this one is more suited for comfort and luxury.

So rare to see a seven seater I would go for it if I had SUV money

Would really love that in diesel

Proper vehicle. Thought the 10L/100 would make it onto the list of disadvantages, steep for a modern car.

This Mahindra is genuinely one of my favourite cars on the market today , it’s a practical 7 seater , it’s full of all the features you could want and it comes at a great price.

I really feel sad coz u guys are not getting the diesel engine… the torque is just awesome 450Nm

Between this and the Haval H6 (lower end models) and disregarding your driving style, which one is more economical? I believe they have the same power output. The H6 has 150kw and this one 149kw. Maybe review the the H6 premium or luxury and compare it with this one. 🙌🏾

Mahindra XUV 700 l live in Australia and l did see one of these vehicles in my local supermarket and the owner was a Sikh obviously from lndia all Mahindras which we get in Australia the four models this one the Scorpio and the two PikUps which have proven reliable but this one is petrol not diesel and you didn't mention it was four wheel drive which the other Mahindras are and the quality of build is excellent l myself will never buy a Mahindra mainly l would have no use for one but theu aren't common yet in Australia but once people discover how good they are lam sure they will start to sell l have no idea of how to convert rain into Australian dollars but Mahindras all models are much cheaper than there Japanese competition and in some cases better or just as good and reliable l have seen various reviews on the Mahindras and the extra cup holder is one complaint about the Scorpio and the stop start is another complaint but with the Mahindras you are getting are reliable better built and cheaper than the competition also lndia makes some very good vehicles after all our Suzuki Baleno was made in lndia

Mahindra as a brand has been in South Africa for decades and in that time they’ve produced reliable products but you’re also correct in saying time will tell since this is a new model in the line up.

My father has mahindra xuv 700 diesel manual 2021. It has done 63,000 kms till now. No issues. And if anything survives India, it will outlast anything anywhere.

I have a problem between buying the Mahindra or I should just go for the tiggo 8 pro
