2023 Made in Japan Heritage 60s Stratocaster in Sonic Blue

Музыка

Sorry for my rusty playing haven't had the chance to pick up a guitar in a few months! But This feels like the perfect guitar to get back into the saddle with! Truly feels like an absolute grail and on par or better than American made Fenders I have played in the past!
A like sub and comment goes a long way in supporting the channel :D
The guitar for those that are interested!

Sounds really good plugged in. I have a 2022 Fender Japan Heritage Strat in transparent white / gold pickguard / maple neck. I wasn't expecting it, but I really like the pickups in it as well.

Beautiful guitar. It’s gonna look brand new forever though if it’s poly.

Yeah every single one of my guitars still looks brand new regardless of the finish type. I just love the look of this strat reliced. It will probably look the same in 20 years as it does now though lol

    It’s actually nitrocellulose over urethane.👍

Cool guitar. How does the neck feel? It's a 41mm/1 5/8 inch nut vs the more standard 42mm/1.65". Is it noticeable? I have a traditional ii 60s in dakota red. Cool guitar, I especially like the neck without aging toner, but the flat U shaped neck is a little odd for me in the hand.

For me personally the neck feels perfect. It feels like a mix between a chunky Les Paul and a skinny fender. Kind of like a nice middle ground with a comfortable feel imo. I haven't noticed the nut making a difference compared to my other strats I've owned

Hey man, do you happen to know if the fretboard is slab rosewood or veneer rosewood?

Truthfully I don't know the difference lol

@@StevenMakesVids hey man I’ve been trying to leave a link, but I guess KZread is taking the whole comment out. If you can/want, google rosewood slab vs veneer, there should be a link from musikraft with a very simple and self explanatory image pointing the differences. Like you I always dreamed of a sonic blue/rosewood Strat, but I don’t have the budget for a custom shop one. I do have an American Vintage 2 in fiesta red, but I might sell it and try to get the Japanese one.

@@chocokrispisconleche after a quick Google search and look over my guitar it indeed seems like a slab. Not really sure what the difference would be but this thing is still great. Your model is one I heavily considered getting but I stuck my guns outs until I could find a reasonable sonic blue guitar. So glad I got this one but may still get that fiesta red one day!

@@StevenMakesVids haha here we are with two different but similar dilemmas? 😂. The difference really is the value we give it, slab is supposed to be “better”, but who knows. I’m looking at how to bring one over, or risk it and buy it from someone off of eBay/Reverb. Thank you man, happy holidays

Yep, Japan is notorious for having some really cool exclusive models. Check out their aerodyne series for example!

So, why on Earth, the biggest and largest guitar manufacturer in the world would cahrge more for the instrument alone leaving the hard case out of the treat.....
