I love my 1875 renagade with Honda 115 hp bought new in 2019. Had 35 MPR or more wind's on open lake about 3ft waves white caps. Coming across a lake. Tried get on top but. Beat me to death and broke my troling motor housing good about keeping me dry. I had slow down tell I got across to smoother water then open it up. 4k rpm she run 40 on water. Love stable of the boat fishing walk out side it don't shift stays flat on the water. Very safe boat.

Why does the trolling motor sit so far inside the boat

What are the speeds on the 1975 with a 150? Is a Yamaha sho a option instead of the merc and also will the 1975 handle a 175-200

Lund wont ship it off or let their dealers sell it with a SHO. I'm a Yamaha fan myself but the proXS is a solid motor. 115 and 150 are built (assembled) in the Fon du Lac, WI plant.

@@nicholasessick2738 that’s a shame for that kinda money you can’t choose what motor you want to power your boat smh. For almost 50 k I would think you could choose Suzuki Yamaha mercury etc. I’ve owed several merc’s and the only one I found to be solid was a 9.9. The opti max and efi were not to be desired. I’ve owned two Yamahas 1998 150 and my current boat 20 ft 2 bass cat erya with a 2011 250 sho, both have been fantastic. Looks like il be keeping cat for awhile

Lund and Mercury are both owned by the Brunswick corporation so that’s all you’re going to get from them

@@mike-qh5be I’m about all frozen up where at so won’t be able to try anything until next spring. If you don’t mind reporting back once you try the 21p I’d be curious to see what that does for it.
