After purchasing which upgrade would u recommend... Powertronic or fuel x? Any other alternative... Objective being to improve grunt n bhp at all usable rpms

We haven't used either of the two or any other such options. However, these are unlikely to make any significant difference.

I've been looking for a proper review for Adventure X but couldn't find any good ones until now. Perfectly covered every aspect of the KTM 390 adventure series and finally good to see a reviewer who can ride professionally compared to other big channels who show off with gear but donno know how to ride off road (No offense though). Subscribed 😁

Intercepted 650 or KTM Adv. For for semi long touring and with India village road as considering for off-road kind. Just not able to decide kindly help.

Excellent review. I just bought the 390 Adv SW, learning it with all its foibles and qualities. (That model only is available in the US.) Will have to get used to keeping the revs high compared to my previous 650. But very pleased. Thank you!

Great review buddy , i am always waiting for your review cause i am also lil over 6"2 and similar to your structure , so it gives me a clear picture of every bike that i have in my list . Been waiting for this bike from sometime as i am in the market to get one . But again looks like a okaish off roader but lil bad for long rides . I do 70% touring and 30% off Roading . crap i think this will go off the llist .

How much difference does the adjustable suspension really make? Will it be worth upgrading the suspension on an old 2020 model? And you don't need to turn off the MTC everytime man. Just selecting off-road ride mode and offroad ABS is good enough even for deep sand or rocks

Adjustable suspension makes a lot of difference, both on road and off road. The MTC would switch on everytime the bike stalled or the ignition was switched off.

@@BikeWaleOfficial how is the rear shock with rebound settings now adjustable? because the normal one, springs are so stiff, preload adjustments doesn't make any difference. Will the adjustable front suspension fit alloy rims because hubs are different ?

Should we wait for new 390 engine update?

Great review 💯. With the top variant not an excellent value for money, let me wait for the Big Boss, a.k.a. The Himalayan 450, to hit the roads. The wait is not too long. Until then, I will keep meditating 🧘‍♂

Would this bike be ok for someone who is 6’2” tall , 230 pounds????

I have an Xpulse but i definitely buy Ktm 390 Adventure but which one i doubt.....also spoke wheel a drawback it's come with tube tyre i think.

You should consider the X variant, if you don’t want the fancy electronics.

It's an Aluminum rim so you can use Outex tapes and make it tubeless.

@@royarnab22 that depends on rim , the beading of tubeless tube type is diffrent so are "their rims ", there is chance of sudden loss of air /accident occuring on bump, so buyers beware, don't think all rims will automatically support tubeless, even if any unscrupulous dealers says so and fits tubeless on tube type rim for earning bucks.

490 platform has been canned. KTM is now working on using the 790 platform to make 650cc range of bikes. These bikes are rumoured to be made in India.

Showroom in pune are stating on road price is 4.35 lkh. No way near to 4.10 which you mentioned. Crazy price hike

They may have inflated the insurance cost, and included extended warranty and other add-ons.

Why is that?

It will be stand against upcoming Himalayan 450. But the only problem with RE is the weight, can RE will make a bike in under 200kg , bcoz current Himalayan 411 is 199kg already. And thats why this 390 adv will create a strong point for itself

These are press bikes. KTM doesn't sell this to any buyers. It will go back to the factory and will be checked by the R&D team.
