2023 KINGCHII PORTABLE WOOD PELLET SMOKER | FULL BUILD | BBQ JOE
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Here is a full step by step guide on how to assemble the new KINGCHII 2023 Upgraded Pellet Smoker. It's very easy to build and only takes one person to put it together. I recommend two people to make the build process easier. Click that SUBSCRIBE button and stay tuned for the cook video on this smoker. So far I'm very impressed with the quality for the price.

How’s its performance months later?

Absolutely amazing. I use it almost every day without any issues at all. My latest cook was homemade thin crust pizza. I just set it to (s) smoke mode and they finished in 4 hours. They turned out perfect with a crispy crust. I highly recommend this pellet smoker.
Received mine a couple of days ago. Screws missing for top rack. Nothing a trip to the hardware store could not fix. Came with minor dents, no big deal. First time cook was amazing for me. It ran like a champ. $240 at wally world.

So far I'm impressed with how easy it was to build. The next video I'm going to smoke a pork loin and see how it does.
This helped. Thanks
Thanks so much for this video it has helped me a lot being a first time pellet owner

You're welcome. I'm going to do more cooks like this as soon as it warms up. Thanks for the kind words..
Thank you so much for this video. Got this smoker as a Christmas present and saw your video on assembly. Great job on your video and easy to do as you say! Did the burn in and everything worked great. Will be taking it to CO for the summer and do first cook there. Will be transporting this grill inside the suv so don't want the smell of pork ribs inside the cabin all the way from TX to CO. That would be cruel and unusual punishment. Will be perfect size for my RV this summer.

Absolutely.. I did a 12# packer and it turned out amazing. I'll have to get a video out on this soon.
Sounds silly but can you put charcoal in this and grill??? It says 8 in 1. Thanks

Unfortunately it's not designed for charcoal but I'm sure it can be don.! You just gave me a great video idea.
Of course the book doesnt say put everything back in before trying the break in burn. Was getting ERH code on the display and some very high temps
@BBQJOE

That shouldn't of mattered. I wash my grates before putting them in the pit. Not sure about the erh code. Hopefully you get it figured out. I haven't had any issues with mine.

After putting everything back in it was able to burn off everything without overheating. The booklet never said to put everything back in for the burn off
I forgot to mention that this grill looks almost identical to the Traeger Tailgater. There are a couple of improvements that the King Chii brings such as improved handle on lid, upper rack, larger hopper, half the price, etc. I don't know if the construction is as robust as the Tailgater which really isn't robust compared some of the other Traeger models. After all, It's a portable and relatively easy to load into an rv or back of truck.

I agree with you 100%.. I haven't checked the prices lately but it was the cheapest pellet smoker in its class at the time.
does it comes with 2 probes i only saw the one?

Sorry to hear this. Send it back or get a refund. I've had this happen to big companies like Pit Boss and Z- Grills so it will happen.
So when I. Shutdown does it cut off on its own
@johnevans4080

Yes, switch to shutdown and in about 10 it shuts off completely,

It has a cooldown countdown and it should not cut off right when turn it off. It's like that by design.
Anyone have an issue with the auger not working

I had to take the outside off to get to the wires and switch the red and orange/yellow and it ran fine after that

Never had any issues with the auger. Just make sure you have pellets in it or it will shut off.

Do you know how to make the auger run? I had dropped a screw in there when putting in the top lid but I just wanna make sure there's nothing else in there lol
