This vehicle is a tremendous value at $25k for the top trim. Its also a great car for the mobility impaired, thanks to the vertical hatch, generous seat height, lots of headroom, and huge doors. I've recently rented several Souls and never noticed that it was loud inside.

My '17 Soul is a perfect 2nd / city car. Easy to drive, can park it almost anywhere, fits quite a lot of stuff in a small space and pretty good on fuel economy. My only complaint is the lack of power when it's fully loaded with passengers and cargo. It's hilariously slow going up steep hills, and the engine's screaming like a banshee. I still love it though.

I bought a 2023 Soul EX in Aug. I am very satisfied with the csr. This is my 3rd Soul since Kia introduced the Soul. Ive enjoyed every Soul I have owned, and they have been trouble free. With that said I feel that Kia may be getting ready to end production of the Soul. I just get that feeling.

The dash is NOT hard plastic it is soft padded and the interior is NOT plain. It is loaded with features for under 25k.

I used to drive muscle and luxury performance cars with 300 hp. minimum, and then my body started telling me it needed an SUV. I test-drove the GT-line earlier this year and couldn't believe how much I liked it in terms of tossability and general driving enjoyment considering its 147 hp engine strength. The reason I didn't buy it on the spot was the fact that the ignorant salesman misinformed me that vehicle didn't come with power-seats, including lumbar. He also didn't seem to know that the trim above it, the EX, has auto-seats and leather, which might've caused me to turn my purchasing attention to it. Discontinuing the turbo version is one of the worst marketing decisions in the history of car-making.

I did not want to like this vehicle. However, I did, in every aspect. The front seat comfort is phenomenal.

The Kia Soul competes with the Chevy Trax, Nissan Kicks, Jeep Renegade, Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, and Hyundai Venue. The Kia Seltos competes with the upper tier subcompact crossovers.

I feel like what the original Beetle was for VW, the Soul has been for Kia. Kia's "people car". It was designed to appeal to young buyers, but it turned out even middle-aged and senior people liked it because of the ease of ingress/egress, and the affordable price that people on a fixed income appreciate. It packs a lot of value for the money, and a lot of interior space for the small size, thanks to the boxy shape and tall roof. I've always liked the Soul. Maybe one of these days I'll actually buy one instead of something else.

I've loved the Soul since it was first introduced. In fact, I own a 2017 Kia Soul Exclaim with the Turbo engine. I was very disappointed to see that Kia removed the Turbo engine. I would have continued to buy these forever. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of the non Turbo so when my car dies, I'll probably move to the Seltos.

No bought the Soul Turbo, because the majority of the buyers in this class are price conscious, height conscious, and AWD conscious. Enthusiasts wouldn't buy it due to the lack of LSD (All GT/N-Line/N models need it bad). If people don't buy, it goes bye-bye.

I can't sit in and get out frequently out of a sedan because of my back issues. If I am in the market to buy a car, I will for sure buy a Soul. Its roomy in the 2nd row compared to CX-30 and you dont have to buy a top trim like Honda HRV to get basic safety functions like Blind spot monitoring and Rear cross traffic alert.

Error. The LX trim does NOT have dual climate control.

I have this video is four weeks old but you should really do your research before informing people. The Kia soul is not come standard with dual zone, climate control on all of them. The base LX has manual climate single zone.

Such a waste, seems like a great car but that engine is too weak. If they bring the turbo back I might consider it.

I have a 2024 Soul EX, and its just basic transportation to me. The fit and finish is poor, and the interior is cheap. It's just a cheap daily driver and is mediocre at best.

I think the soul needs to be retired. It's only fwd, has little cargo room, not much ride height. And they discontinued the trim with the turbo engine. It's had it's time.

None of the cars in the past had AWD and it used to snow a lot than now. People still survived. Also, it has more cargo room than others like CX-30. Me and my friend carried a huge electric bike box in his Soul that we thought won't fit in.
