I got the 2023 Rio S Hatchback Silver with Technology package about a month ago. Driven about 600 miles so far, really like it! Smooth ride, nice features, push button start, alloy wheels, LED headlights, etc. Great gas mileage too, my freeway mileage for shorter city trips is averaging 45-50mpg! Haven't taken a longer road trip yet, but I bet the gas mileage would be well over 50mpg. Pretty good for an all gas vehicle! Someday I want a hybrid or electric, but for now this is a great car! I recommend the Rio!

@@elbenadoelbenado5881 so far it is good, have only driven it for about a month though. It is equipped with a lot of technology i.e. compared to my 2019 ford fiesta.

Growing up in the old neighborhood as a kid, someone owned a First Gen. KIA Rio in white. Outside styling wasn't too bad. But the interior was clearly that of a Penalty Box. Then again, it didn't pretend to be anything but cheap daily transportation. The guy put a giant wing on the back. That lasted about two weeks until he took it off. Two holes left in the trunk lid. Maybe it caused him to lose too much traction to the front wheels. Maybe it was so heavy the car became more sluggish. Today, a Rio is the type of car people on a bit of a budget _want_ to buy. Except for a lack of engine performance and leather seats, it's basically a budget Near-Luxury car. Leather seat covers could be found online. As for the engine, far from sluggish. Clearly enough power for highway driving. A couple of the Rio's competitors in price are side roads/city streets driving ONLY. Just be sure to get a Rio with Push-Button Start to prevent ridiculously easy car theft. I do like that a sedan option exists. Hatchback might be more pragmatic, for some. But those living in a poor neighborhood will appreciate the security of a lockable trunk.

Its exactly the same interior

Great value for money on this car, I bought it 4 month's ago. Only drawback I think of is the weak hp it require higher RPM to drive it, other than that it's nice

In 2017, I bought the same Rio for 8 thousand dollars. The car is new, I bought it from a dealer in Russia. Since then, it has not changed technically at all, but for some reason it costs up to 25 thousand dollars in the USA. Korean automakers overestimate their products, in reality this car is an ordinary subcompact for trips to the store and to work, and its price has always been 4 thousand dollars from the manufacturer, and 8-10 thousand dollars from the dealer. Don't pay for cheating.

The color is red. The 2023 is only offered in red, blue, black, white, silver, and grey.

This is not 2023 model. Because the radio antenna should be shark shape. I know because I work in the kia's factory in Mexico.

It actually depends on your credit I bought a 2022 Kia Rio lx in January for $25,000 dollars and $1500 down payment and my and with my husband having excellent credit I got it for $376 monthly payment

@@ambergriebel9969 You're paying 376 a month?... I'm paying $309 and I put $3k down with the S trim and the technology package and I left the dealer with a loan of $19k after my down payment. You shouldn't have paid that much for a subcompact ):

@@steven-rb2ef how I ended up $25,000 for the vehicle I was driving to the Kia dealership in my to drop my daughter off to the dealership so she can pick up her car after getting serviced and I decided to look at all the new car and I have done research of the Rio months before coming while I was looking at the rios I started talking how much payments would be and the sticker price was $16,500 but the and then the salesman rushed me basically making buy this Rio when it was not the exact color I wanted and the trim level I wanted those pricks got me there but my husband purchased a 2022 Kia Rio 5 door hatch with technology package in sporty blue I personally like driving his more and he seems to enjoy driving mine but I wasn’t paying much attention to the paperwork I that time I was feeling excited about my brand new car

yes that is the problem with sub-compact cars. That's why I prefer a compact car like a Corolla or a Civic.

Yes but when you buy a manual drive car, you pay the price when you trade it in, because the dealer knows that there will be a limited number of customers who will buy it, so they give you less money for it as a trade in vehicle.
