@Play Disc Golf Imo, there is no "next McBeth" currently playing. He's a different breed. But if anyone could be, it might be Gannon. I don't see it in him, though. Paul is something else.

Austin has the hat trophy, TX States have the buckle.. I think WACO needs to change their trophy to some Cowboy Boots so someone can get the whole outfit. XD

2023 so far has been a blessing for all the Calvin fans including myself. If only I can ask for more, I wish he wins the worlds as well. Looking at the way he's been playing all this year, it is totally possible.

Excellent coverage/commentary/camerawork, and most excellent golf as well! As for poison ivy/oak, if you get into it, rub dry dirt immediately on the spot and it will neutralize the oil. It'll still be on the disc and most likely your shoes, so rub dirt on the disc and watch touching your shoes till you get a chance to wash them off.

When you guys were talking about how hole 7 was the 2nd easiest hole and how it is a "must get", only for the lead card to put up 3 pars and 1 birdie, I remember thinking to myself: "watch them miss this hole but then all birdie the hardest hole", then it really happened LMFAO. It's funny how things can go that way. I'm a Colts fan (don't laugh too hard), been one since I started watching football as a kid, back when Peyton Manning was winning us a Super Bowl against the Bears. During our time with Andrew Luck, and even a little bit after, we would go and beat these really good teams, only to lose to absolute SCRUBS a week later or at the end of the season. I swear it's happened SO many times. Losing to the Jags to start the season, only to go on to beat the Chiefs last year, beating the Bills, the Patriots, and the Cardinals all within 5 weeks of each other, all 3 teams being playoff teams with 2 leading their conference, only to go on and lose to the Raiders and Jags at the end of the season and missing the playoffs in 2021, in 2019 we lost to the 5-11 chargers, then beat the Titans, then lose to the Raiders, then beat the Chiefs. Lost to the ass Bengals, the Jets, and the Jags, but beat the Texans (when they were decent), Cowboys and the Titans twice towards the end of the season in 2018. The first time I really noticed it was way back in 2012, Luck's 1st year with us, we lost to the damn Jags, then go on to beat the really good Packers, then lose to the fckin Jets. The funny thing is, it happened again a few years later when our division played the NFC North again, we lost to the 3-win Jags, then went on the beat the Packers when we were a pretty bad underdog. Anyways, that was way too long, sorry about that. If you've made it this far I commend you. It is weird how great teams/players can struggle on "easy" holes/games but do really well against "hard" holes/games. I actually do the same thing at one of the main courses I play at, PFW. Hole 12 is a really straight 170ft-ish hole with a fairway around 12ft wide maybe. It's ranked as the easiest hole on the course, but I always have issues with it. Meanwhile, several holes require these technical hyzer shots that I'm able to park almost every time. LMFAO.

Calvin is easily world no 1 right now. He might not be winning everything, but being consistently in the top 5 or around there is not matched by anyone else at the moment.

Somebody said back 9 snack time and the card got the munchies.

On hole 10, Connor comments that Calvin's drive has too much hyzer on it but I think it was intentional. He landed in the perfect spot, giving him the easy hyzer chip up. That's how I played the hole as well, just not nearly as good as Calvin did.

Beautiful course. It's too bad I would have to take a ton of lay-ups to avoid the OB valleys. XD

AB still screwing up his upshot’s. I’m a fan but he’s faced the same problem year after year… puts himself in hard position for putts and then that starts a downward spiral mentally for the round. A training regimen to fix that problem I think he would be one of the best players in the game.

They had to make the Zone OS, I’ve had too many Zones that weren’t reliable and glided too much. That’s why I switched to the MVP Deflector. That disc changed my game for the better, more than any other disc.

Happy for Calvin. However I hope the tour never comes back to this course. It felt like every par 4 on this course except for hole 6 is the same hole. Low ceiling 720ft with artificial OB and an arrow-straight fairway. Terrible boring course design. Not quite as bad as Emporia but not far off

Connor and Nate really need to lay off the quaaludes.

I disagree. I like their voices and calm energy. For a counter example, Ian's voice and energy is quite distracting and annoying.
