I had my name down for one of these, unfortunately i am over 6 foot tall and after a test drive, that lasted about 5 minutes, with that blooming awful foot rest being so high, it was too painful to drive, so I had to pull out. Shame really. So much time and effort put in to make a super / superior vehicle and they cock it up. Maybe all the test drivers were 5 foot 8 or less.

Investment? This guy needs to look that word up😂 Your comment is same as what the serious Ozzie overlander reviewers have said. Despite Ricardo seats, you end up with a crippling bad back from not sitting straight. Also bad steering, commercial vehicle speed restrictions, and poor customer support, but better than an unreliable new Discovery which may end up as an expensive coffin in the outback.

That is only on UK units, in America that issue would not be included in the drivers' foot well.

Whoever spaced a utility with light leather seats and 18' wheels and on road tires and no axle locks or RAI

Spaced? Presume you mean specced. They’re actually all terrain tyres on this vehicle.

There are units with steel wheels, not alloys, and larger tires, more tread aggressiveness.

It’s a petrol van. The saving grace with this one is that it just might be the only version of Grenadier that actually qualifies as a commercial vehicle for VAT and tax purposes. The downside is that petrol engine, but you never know there may be a customer out there for it. It’s not suitable for carrying anything much on a farm though because the load floor is not fluid proof and there is no rigid divide, even a half height bulkhead between the seats and the load. A mesh divider just isn’t dust, muck and liquid proof. It’s best seen as a vehicle that can be customised for a specific purpose, such as into an expedition long distance explorer, even though the fuel tank is woefully small for such a purpose combined with the petrol engine. I wonder whether the right person has come along and bought it, two weeks after posting the video?
