    Congrats on new bike. You may want to watch a few exhaust videos before you pull the trigger on a new set of pipes. Some have regretted going with aftermarket after a while. For me, I just punched out 1st baffle in each pipe. Plenty loud for me, and cheap to do. Keeps neighbors at bay also. I also put on floorboards, sissy bar, and heel & toe shifter. Small changes can make a big difference.

    Can you send me some videos or pics of what you’ve done? Also. Did you do a stage 1 air intake after drilling the baffles out?

    I love my Vance & Hines. I installed baffles to take away the "burpy" sound and that gave them a deeper rumble. I think it sounds great. You're in for some great times ahead Brother. Beautiful machine, ride safe.

    Oh good, picking my Scout Rogue up later this week (in storm blue too) and was looking at the V&H 3" twin slash slip ons. They had them on a bike there, sounded great! Now it just needs a shock upgrade to keep my back happy! ha

    Beautiful little cruiser. Indian has really got the styling right on this model. Love the blue color. I know what you mean about Mississippi heat - Georgia is not much better in the summer. Great review.

    In the break-in phase you should shift and change rpm as often as possible. Breaking it in with constant revs is not good for the motor. That is by the way also what the manual says.

    You ride however you want, but not using the front brake is horrible advice.

    There are still 'Biker Types' that preach to young riders to NOT use the front brakes. Go find a clean empty road / parking lot, practice and see for yourself how much longer the stopping distance is, when you're afraid of the front brakes.

    Using the front break with rear break for emergency braking is the safest way to avoid collision with that car that didn’t see you when you are at speed and it pulls out

    The back tire on that bike is just fine. No need to waste money on a fat tire. You get better handling and better gas milage and faster acceleration with the stock size.

    Just wanted to agree , I was a little bummed on the initial drive bc of the amount of road feel that traveled right though your bottom when riding. Put the piggy back shocks on and then ride improved 5 fold.

    @@Bruce_zx6r if you plan a longish ride (300 miles), does it take a bigger windshield or does it look too fugly? Trying to decide if it's worth getting over the regular scout?

    @@rds4629 if you want any wind blocked then I would definitely change the windscreen out. But it’s not that bad during warm weather. Plus I wear a full helmet. I think if you get too big of a windscreen it will take away the look of the rogue.

    Yes. All new bikes have a break in period. Anywhere from 600 to 1000 mile beak in

    @@georgegould667 get the chief it has cruise control, the digital tach screen with ride command, led pathfinder light(not halogen like this one), throttle by wire, and a slightly better suspension. If you get the sport chief it has dual brembo brakes up front, detachable fairing, Fox rear piggyback shocks, and KY inverted forks.

    I really like this bike but I'm not digging the dash. You'd think for a 23 Indian would have thrown a tft dash on it. Nothing fancy but a circular dash with a digital tach, gear indicator and speedo.

    I would love a big digital screen. With a fuel gauge. It has no fuel gauge. Only a warning light. Lol. And it needs cruise control

    I catch all the wind. The windscreen doesn’t block any wind. But it’s not bad. Your head catches most of it.

    The glue under the sticker will eventually (from the sun) melt into the clearcoat, and becomes extremely difficult to remove.
