2023 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid SEL | The BEST Midsize Hybrid?

In this video I show you the 2023 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid SEL. The Sonata Hybrid SEL is largely based on the gas SEL but adds more features than you would find on the equivalent gas Sonata. The Hybrid powertrain means this Sonata gets over 50 MPG highway which is nearly as good as the Elantra Hybrid. Although leaks over the last couple years suggested the Sonata may be discontinued, it appears that recent news suggest a mid cycle refresh for 2024. 2022 SEL Hybrid Pricing: $30,100 + $1,095 = $31,195
2023 SEL Hybrid Pricing: $31,450 + $1,115 = $32,565
Difference: $1,370

Yes, thanks for the video. I just bought it 2 days ago and man, this drives like a butterfly! The torque is still great, great amount of pick up! Perfect ride over the curves and it seriously put nice lane keeping assist which I did test leaving steering alone and it did turn well on curve.. don't do that for safety reasons 😂 but it was a crazy moment! Now Hyundai web site price is 32,800 vs dealers gives you 33,180.

My right knee is coming in contact with the hard surface of the button shifter & is not very comfortable. Did you experience it??

I've had a silver and dark gray metallic vehicles. I've seen just about every color of the years too. I would say the silver/gray's do extremely well with hiding dirt and minor scratches. If I had to pick the "best" (Which is impossible to do) I would say silver is the best as long as you keep the road containments or "fallout" cleaned off about once a year if you live in an area that put salt down during the winter.

Every Hyundai comes standard with Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

I put a downpayment on one which will arrive the 1st week of June direct from the manufacturer in South Korea. One thing I wish you would have mentioned for us Canadian viewers is that we do not get those 3 levels (Blue,SEL,Limited) but just one all-inclusive level. Without you mentioning that it may misdirect Canadians to go into a Hyundai dealership and request a Limited or Blue version (🍳on🙎‍♂️). Great video otherwise. However slow down your speaking at times... this is not a rap song nor is there a size restrainst on KZread. Cheers
