2023 Hyundai IONIQ 6 | The Future of Cars?
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The Hyundai IONIQ 6 is one funky looking car. The IONIQ 6, in its Long Range trim, can achieve 581kms of range (361 miles). Is it a better buy than the Tesla Model 3?

In general, are you more likely or less likely to watch an EV car review?

Electric is the future. Elon Musk was asked in an interview once what he though about Hyundai electrics and he said, "they are doing well" ... lol. Hyundai has always been an innovator and for reasonably priced electrics for the masses I think they are one to watch. My next vehicle will be electric so I'm always watching reviews of what's new and what's coming in that space. Great review BTW, TY .... subbed.

EV for sure!
I think this car looks better in person. I'd buy one in a heart, if I could afford it.
For the door handles, it's not the way you thought. You can set it to pop up automatically when the key is near the car. And you can also tap on the pixel on the handle to let it pop up.

In most markets only the highest trim has the automated door handles.

@@19loek94 Fair enough, but by tapping the pixel on the door handle should pop it up at least.
OMG Mike. You lock and walk away. When you approach, the side mirrors unfold, and door handles pop out.
It’s the little things in editing I appreciate. Like the ending of the intro montage and cut of music corresponding with a little dead air as the transition. ❤
Love seeing the man behind the cam getting love, go Ian!
My doors unlock on approach. You can set the way it unlocks in settings (setup). It’s a brilliant car to drive.
Nice review keep up the good work fella
I really like this car, been waiting for you to do your thing with a review! Keep up the awesome work
I own a First Edition Ioniq 6, and I love it. I like the design, efficiency, ride quality, ease of use, roomy interior, HUD, sunroof, 3D camera. Trunk space is a little restricted, tall passengers on the rear seats can get problems with headspace, both not a problem for me. It's a big car, at least for German proportions, but it does not feel big or heavy.

Sadly Hyundai offers no HUD on US models of the Ioniq 6!

Purchased the exact same Limited you are showing! Quality build, great ride and performance AND it doesn't look like all the other Tesla models on the highway!! 80% recharge in 18 minutes. WOW

Thanks for sharing..would you recommend this car for Uber use? I'm semi retired and want to drive this part time with Uber

@@shabadime10 Maybe an Ioniq 5 would be more practical for that application. The ride quality and interior space is excellent in both vehicles.
I want to know why they flipped the buttons on the steering wheel. I own a 22 Tuscon and the phone stuff is on the left and the adaptive stuff is on the right. I test drove an Ioniq 5 and it's the same, but they flipped it for the 6. That's going to be darn confusing. Fantastic looking car though. Does the interior come in a darker color scheme? I live in a muddy area and have kids. We don't white/eggshell/light grey interiors.
Nice review pal

Greetings from oakville Ontario thanks for the presentation I'm not a fan of the flush door handles and no rear wiper but my sister has put down a deposit for the chevy blazer ev 1LT for what I mentioned b4
so nice, i love cars😍😍
Weird to see running daylights in orange blinker european color. In europe running daylights are white... Only blinkers are orange.
Now my car to buy!
I am looking at the 5 but a bit out of my price range but the 7 has a concept picture that you can Google.
Review of Nissan Qashqai 2023
Don't drop the key fob I did it with my 2019Mazda GS sport hatchback and it broke open and I had an awful time trying to get it back together very disappointing 😮
I'm Not Sure If In The U.S Is The Same But The Trims Here In Australia Are: Dynamiq - Base Model Techniq - Mid-Range Model Epiq - Top Of Range But I'll Most Likely To Buy An Ioniq 6 In The Future!
Good review. However, a review of the Ionic 5 showed driver assist. Because of all the previous hype concerning autonomous cars, seeing what Hyundai added in the way of driver assist would be interesting from a safety point of view.
They squeezed flat a beetle.
Love this car. Drove it today and think it will be my next one.
To me, it doesn’t look that appealing but my buddy keeps telling me it looks better in person.
Looks like a Saab. Which I love.
I think it’s gorgeous inside and out.
No bathroom humor? I'm out😂
I was so hyped about this car when news of the Ioniq 6 broke over a year ago. I continued to stay on top of the news, reviews and specs online. We happily owned a 2020 Sonata Limited, so the design language of the Ioniq 6 wasn't that great of a departure from our DN8. With our lease coming up we decided to see one in person... yikes. I'd have to say that this had to be the biggest let downs in our years of car ownership. This was the first time for me seeing something in person gave me a completely negative vibe than it did on videos and print. I really wanted to love this car to the point of forcing myself to like it. We sat in the car, did one walk around, drove it 5 feet... and dipped. We walked across the parking lot to the Kia dealership saw the EV6 (loved it), dropped off our Sonata and drove off in a 2023 Kia Stinger GT2. We are avid Hyundai/Kia/Genesis owners and will sit out the next 36 months to see what other EV options they offer.
that dont look blue to me,,, looks gray
I love this car.
Better looking than Tesla

i am from india and love to watch your videos nice job 😀👌👍👍
This car looks like a hybrid of the Porsche 911 and Saab 9-3 from the 80's. IYKYK lol On another note, these S. Korean car manufacturers are not here to play. If they remove all the cheap plastics for soft ones and up the quality of their leathers just a little bit, with some HP, it'll be game over for some of these luxury brands.
This car looks actually very cool. I saw one in person and it's much bigger than I thought. The only downside is the headlight shape. The rest of it looks very nice.
Ordered one in the same color you tested. AWD Ultimate package. 70k 🇨🇦 $ on the road after tax rebate. About 5-6 months wait. It's 3 years wait for the ioniq 5 and 2 years for EV6. I think the ioniq 5 feels more luxury inside.
I dont need batroom floor at this car and toilet.
I hate the look of the ionic 5, strong dislike. Ionic 6 is just weird, a mixup of mercedes c class and Porsche but I do prefer the "sterile" interior as you put it, manufacturers just need to keep it simple. Kia overly complicating it with the combined capacitive climate and media controls still upsets me, but not as much now that I've started realizing I don't actually use the physical buttons that much in my car.
I think this isn't amazing car. I wish the charging infrastructure was in place to support it better.

Why are Canadians extremely not American. Until it comes to cars. Then American automakers become "domestic."
I looks decent, but gives up a lot of trunk. I saw it in person, not a huge fan, looks average. My EV6 looks a lot better. It reminds me of the Fisker Karma because of the trunk design. Not practical. Everything else I like.
It looks weird on the outside
