I was about to say this, but since ROP premiered in 2022, I suppose it wasn’t eligible for this year’s awards. But season 2 is coming out next year, so I’m confident it’ll sweep the board of 2024 awards. ☺️

Statistically you are correct worst rated historical show ever.

I imagine Disney will be sweeping the categories this year. RIP Star Wars. Other than KZread, I have never heard a human mention Secret Invasion. Best list of the year! I was able to watch all of Rebel Moon, that cannot be said for most of this entire list.

You guys aren't whiny and have a great sense of humor. Keep up the good work! Your channel isn't a Hate Watch for me. I love watching your content!

I almost flipped a gasket when Napoleon beat Cleopatra, but by the end of the video, it all made sense. Worst Disney remake should be its own category since they crank them out so fast.

I loved The Dial of Destiny. I saw Raiders of the Lost Ark opening weekend in 1981 when I was 12yrs old. I loved seeing an Indy that was facing his mortality and realizing the greatest adventure of his live was his love for Marian. My favorite movie of the year.👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

I just started watching i cant imagine ANYTHING Disney on this list. They had their most entertaining year! Oh, i just woke up from a coma recently.

I can understand their choice of Velma... but I would have to go with Amazon's Wheel of Time... Just to start with, 3 heroes... all 3 of them get turned useless AND... 1 kills his own wife... 1 robs from his hook-ups (but still needs a woman to tell him what to do)... and the third is sleeping with the enemy... who is not just an enemy, but "sworn to serve the devil". That's just the tip of the iceberg.

I would have added "Wish" to most disappointing and worst box office.

Maybe I should be ashamed to say it......but that last clip of "You People" where his hat caught on fire got chuckle out of me.

there was a new indiana jones this year? didn't the last one or two that nobody come out like... last year? I guess I don't remember bad movies I watched earlier in the year, but one I hated based on high expectations set by wholly unjustified hype was oppenheimer. it took me three attempts to watch most of it, and even speeding itup coumdn't take me past 3/4 - I quit after giving it enough time sure that they really did feature the nuclear attacks so pathetically, not just echoing the american historical justification but actually ignoring the least justifiable part of the whole story, the bombing of nagasaki after not giving japan enough time to reconsider surrender options (three days), even worse than moat discuasions of history: by not directly including it AT ALL, but rather mentioning that the, didn't include it by way of havibg oppenheimer correct somebody else by interjectibg "and nagasaki". I watched 5-10 minutes after that to ensure that they really were leaving it at that, and had enough. and of course it juat fails to be a decently watchable movie on the basics, itis so boring and up it's own ass! easily the worst nolan movie I have seen, otherwise I've had a high opinion of the guy. another movie I hated recently after coming in with modest expectations (I remember moderately enjoying more or less all the other ones) is this year's hunger games. it's somehow a hollow but functional movie until coming to what seems very clearly like a movie ending two thirds of the way through, after a normal movie run time, and then it has a continuation pasted on that's totally jarring and incoherent and forced that messes the whole thing up, as if they had filmed part of the scenes of a sequel movie but cancelled it and then decided to paste the partial movie they had onto the end of the complete one. there is such a strong break in story and production quality... if anything, you would have a break and reset of the whole setting (different location and almost entirely different cast) after a movie's first act, not between what by run time should be the second and third act.

I’ve been a fan of Dr who since the days of Patrick troughton. I’m not a fan of the new who show but the recent crop of shows under chibnal and now Davies are so bad that I don’t even have the heart to watch or read critics of the new shows. To see one of my favorite shows sink this low under the name of wokeness is deeply sad

Hard disagree on Indiana Jones. I liked how Indy was handled much more than in Crystal Skull and Helena changes by the end of the movie because of her relationship to Indy.

You missed Doctor WHO, which completely drove itself off the cliff.

None of these compare to the worst of them all: the rings of power. Worst writing, worst lead character, no respect to source material, worst blow to the franchise, best sleeping pill ever.

This show had genuine drama, as every category featured strong contenders!

Indy Jones and that unlikable woman what a cash grab.

Most damaging to the franchise? With no Marvel or Rings of Power or DC comics?! I so rarely put an exclamation point, it took me a minute to find where it is on the keyboard. But there it is, above the 1 key!

Gets out the popcorn 🍿. I am glad Oppenhiemer got a nomination awful movie. Also Cleopatra and Velma were robbed of an award in multiple categories.

BLACK MIRROR....What happened to that show??? I thought the previous season was bad but this year'sm was horrible. Bad writing and completely changing the lore. It's always been about the dangers near future technology-No we got werewolves????

The decision was made to greenlight and shoot , so something went right for the writers .

Yes, Doctor Who should have swept all the awards! It’s the most egregious for destroying the lure, turned Doctor who into a gay night clubber, turned a historic character, Newton, into an East Indian, and had baby eating elves for Christmas. It should be given its own section, for lifetime achievement for bad writing, terrible characters, race swapping, gender swapping, and the kitchen sink! #ripDoctorWho

The Marvels should have won for Biggest Flop Indiana Jones was already a dead franchise after Crystal Skull… The MCU is an ongoing concern, and The Marvels is their biggest loser by a huge margin.

I only have 3 points of contention but otherwise i agree with everything else 1.Cleopatra should have won revisionist history award,i mean sure Napoleon was misrepresented but it was also a film,which films take liberties a lot and usually tell the story the writer and/or director want so i can see changes, Cleopatra...is supposed to be a documentary and plus their reasoning for their change is so much more ridiculous than Napoleon, basically bc "we want her to be black" is their reason 2.on the good films of the year snipits ya showed i noticed the last of us which albeit ik did have some good moments at least...it also was full of bs messaging in it's own right so i don't see how that or dungeons and dragons were good granted i haven't watched them but with any movie/tv showthat was supposed to be good like them that i watched,the agenda always ruined it,plus I've heard and seen clips of both and no way would i give them a pass,ya have bs messages in your shit count me out period 3.is worst flop.... although this is actually not as big of a point of contention as the other 2,i did feel like captain marvel deaerved it more just bc of how it's defenders used the first mivies placement in the mcu as a shield for years,so to see it it flop shiwed that nobody has ever cared about it, Marvel just placed between it's 2 biggest films last time at a time ppl still had faith that the messaging wouldn't get out of hand so i feel it flopping had a bigger impact bc nobody asked for another indy movie as the franchise had been dirmant for years while Marvel was banking on ole capitán for a boost. Great awards though really enjoyed watching these puke fests get what they deserved

I disagree on the Who Cares Anymore? Award going to Secret Invasion. It should've been nominated and won the Most Damaging to the Franchise Award because Marvel fans were still looking forward to the Disney+ series before it aired. The Marvels should've won the Who Cares Anymore? Award with its record-low, worst performing MCU opening weekend box office of $46 million - even lower than 2008's The Incredible Hulk's $55 million (not adjusted for inflation). It broke almost all of the historic lows for the MCU box office records.
